Would not stay again.
Pros:

Hotel is across from the train station which was perfect. Staff were friendly. Rooms were quiet

Cons:

The room had a really bad smell especially in the bathroom. Everything seemed a little outdated.

A great Western style hotel a few steps from the train station.
Pros:

Breakfast was incredible. Salad greens very very fresh, creamy scrambled eggs, delicious Japanese dishes using local ingredients, best French toast I've ever had on a buffet.

Cons:

Because some of the guests are hikers, the carpets are stained. The hotel restaurant no longer serves dinner.

Goede ligging t.o.v. JR treinstation en busstation
Pros:

Vriendelijk personeel, al ze geen Engels spreken begrijp je prima wat ze willen zeggen. Kamers zijn ok, niet deur is niet gebouwd op 1.95m (dus even bukken). Verder ok kamer met ok badkamer, klein op z'n Japans. Ontbijt was ok, niet super. Locatie was top, dicht bij het JR treinstation en op loopafstand van busstation. Als je van wandelen houdt is alles op loopafstand.

Cons:

Niet wat echt tegenviel, het is classic laten we maar zeggen.

ここ数年泊まった中で，最高の宿泊施設でした。
Pros:

ホテルの接客・設備等が申し分ないうえに，予想通り，部屋の窓から，また朝食のテーブルから眺めるJR日光駅の風情は旅情満点でした。東武線で日光に来られる方は，列車が東武日光駅の手前で減速し始めたら，JR日光駅越しに日光ステーションホテルクラシックさんを撮影してみてください。きっといい写真が撮れるとおもうのですが。
