Wonderful staff, perfect location in St Martin de Re next to harbour and a fabulous sun trap of a swimming pool, highly recommended!
One tiny issue with shower on one night which was swiftly resolved by the housekeeping team
A lovely room in a lovely location, just around the corner from the centre.
The rooms are a good size, very clean, would have liked air conditioning even though the temperature wasn’t very warm but was quite warm through the night.

Premium room with sea view was neither premium nor sea view unless you are very tall and can see over the battlements!)
Also "sea view" rooms as advertised are North facing so get little or no sun.
Pool is warm and clean but only available after 10am (not ideal if you like an early or pre breakfast swim) and is surrounded by high buildings so sun is not always available on the narrow terraces around.

Nous avons adoré l'emplacement. Notre chambre avec vue sur la mer était vraiment bien. Le petit déjeuner est très bien, nous l'avons pris en terrasse avec vue sur la piscine. Le personnel est très sympathique, rien à dire. Excellent séjour !
Le bémol : pas de climatisation. Les nuits étant plus fraîches en septembre, nous avons dormi la fenêtre ouverte en toute sécurité car nous étions au 2ème étage. En revanche, en période plus chaude voire de canicule, ce n'est pas tenable.

We love the location,of the hotel ,our room was a nice size .
Our bed mattress was very hard and the sheets were not of good quality.
There was a lack of toiletries in the room and as the summers get hotter,air conditioning is needed as in installed in most hotels these days.
The breakfast is okay but not exceptional .
We do love the Ile de Re and the hotel as this was our 5 time staying at the hotel ,and we hope to return ,and see some improvements,in the future.

The staff were fantastic. We had trouble with our car and Jeanne and her colleagues were so helpful, phoning garages and car transport truck, etc. Anything we needed, they helped us with.
Also, the hotel was lovely. Our room was cleaned every day.
The location in St Martin was excellent.
