Lovely apartment, clean and well serviced and the staff were just lovely.

We recently returned from a stay at Xanadu Resort (June 30th–July 11th, 2026 and it was once again a fantastic experience. There are so many reasons we chose to return here, and we weren't disappointed.

The resort is incredibly quiet and relaxing, situated right on the water. We spent so much time enjoying the peaceful pool and whirlpool area, and having the bar poolside was a perfect touch. Beyond the amenities, what we love most is the authentic feel of both the resort and the island—it is truly our favorite part of traveling to San Pedro.

A huge thank you to Mildred and the entire staff for being so welcoming and professional. You made our stay feel like home. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

This is our second visit to Xanadu and it hasn’t changed! Super relaxing, the staff are super helpful with reservations and recommendations, the grounds are kept immaculate and the room looked as if it had been refreshed recently. We’ve had a great visit and would definitely come again!

Xanadu was amazing! The location is perfect! They are attentive, helpful, and friendly! They booked our excursions which were amazing! The bartenders were great and super helpful! Rooms were clean and cozy!

Xanadu was a great resort. They provided an excellent experience. The staff was incredible. Unfortunately, we came during sargasm season, and the beach wasn’t usable. We made the trek to Secret Beach twice by golf cart (45 minutes). The resort booked a reef fishing experience which was fun. Overall, the place is great. I recommend renting a golf cart for the entire trip.

We’ve stayed at Xanadu numerous times over many years.
Simply put, it’s an oasis! While Ambergris Caye is no longer the quiet laidback island it once was, Xanadu has managed to retain its charm and relaxed vibe while being near enough to enjoy the restaurants, bars, entertainment…. everything the island has to offer. To paraphrase a very old song - We love it just the way it is!

We had a wonderful stay at Xanadu Resort and would absolutely stay there again. The property has a beautiful jungle-like atmosphere that made it feel peaceful and unique, while still offering stunning ocean views. The pool was the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring Belize. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. One of the highlights of our stay was the outstanding office staff, who were incredibly friendly and helpful. They provided excellent restaurant recommendations and assisted us with reservations, making our trip even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a fantastic vacation, and we can't wait to return to Belize. We highly recommend Xanadu Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

This was our fourth stay at Xanadu and it just keeps getting better. Communication prior to arrival is prompt and helpful. Customer service at the resort is so personalized and all the staff are warm and friendly. The resort planned excursions and scuba diving for us as well as made dinner reservations. Suite Number 1 with the beach as your front yard was perfect for our family of 4 with 2 adult children. Xanadu is a quiet oasis by the beach !

Our family of four stayed at Xanadu and we couldn’t recommend this wonderful spot more. Where do we start?! The team - everyone was amazing but we spent the most time with Kaira who worked so hard to book the excursions our family wanted to experience (through Searious Adventures - also amazing!) that worked for our schedule while on San Pedro. We love Kaira!

We also loved chatting with Winston each day and he made the freshest, most delicious mojitos we’ve ever had - and the kids’ favorite virgin daiquiris 😊

The property itself is so clean and well cared for. It is quiet, relaxing, and feels like a deep exhale as soon as you arrive.

The pool is a peaceful oasis with options for shade and sun. The location is perfect - not right in the hustle and bustle of town, but just close enough for a quick golf cart ride or (complementary!) bike ride.

10/10 recommend Xanadu

The location was great. The resort is amazing and the pool is just what we wanted.

Would absolutely love to return to this resort again! We had two couples in our group, and the two bedroom suite was perfect! It was super convenient to have a full kitchen in our space, but each of our rooms were delightful. Comfy beds, warm shower, lovely sitting area.

The resort itself is STUNNING. The pool and hot tub make for a beautiful place to spend the day, especially with a bar right there for rum punch when you need it. The dock also makes it easy to be picked up for any excursions.

Every thing is easier because the staff is so incredibly welcoming and helpful when it comes to booking things like massages or reserving your golf cart! 10/10 am hoping to return soon!

Beautifully maintained with a lush tropical feel. We loved the jungle feel, right on the ocean! The view was amazing! The staff was fantastic and so helpful about everything! We saw some other properties during our time on ambergris, but we were always happy to come back to Xanadu!

7 Jahre nach unserem ersten Aufenthalt waren wir nun zum zweiten Mal im Xanadu. Die Anlage ist wunderbar direkt am Meer gelegen. Unser Apartement war etwas zurückversetzt, hatte aber trotzdem noch teilweisem Meerblick. Die vielen hohen Bäume spenden bei der tropischen Hitze angenehm Schatten. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Die eigene Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Sehr geschätzt haben wir den Trinkwassertank, der uns das Schleppen von Trinkwasser erspart hat. Neben zwei Badezimmern im Obergeschoss gab es zusätzlich ein WC auf der unteren Etage. Die Terasse war gross und mit Tisch, Stühlen und einer Hängematte versehen. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt, der Sand wird regelmässig gereinigt.

Loved everything about Xanadu Island Resort! Quiet, peaceful and clean! Loved having the table by the pool so we could play games. There was 8 of us and we all had a great time! Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful resort! The staff were so friendly and helpful. Located very close to the main town and close to lots of local places to eat. It was very convenient to book the golf carts though them. We had the ocean view suite and it was gorgeous!! Very large and spacious with everything you need. Very clean! Definitely worth the price. Would definitely return in the future. It was a wonderful, quiet, and peaceful getaway with a beautiful property.
