Funcionários simpáticos
Para um hotel de 4 estrelas tinha muita falta de limpeza e higiene em todo o lado, até no corredor para o quarto, a casa de banho na banheira tinha cabelos, a cabeça do chuveiro estava bem suja, espelho manchado, toda a zona da casa de banho não estava bem higienizada.
A almofada de decoração também e a almofada de dormir parecia ser alta mas era só ar.
Nem dava para abrir as janelas e estavam muito sujas. O ar condicionado não era o suficiente.
Os copos de água do restaurante estavam manchados, não havia muito limpeza depois de cada hóspede usar a mesa para outras pessoas usarem.
Tranquilo, silêncio para dormir e atenção dos funcionários

Duas situações, ambas com a recepção.
Passo a explicar:
Liguei para a recepção no dia anterior à minha estadia, fui atendido pela recepcionista que educadamente me pediu para aguardar, tudo normal, estive 15 minutos à espera, percebi que estava a tratar dos check ins, pois ouvia-se tudo, cheguei a pensar, esta senhora precisa de algum colega a ajudar.
Podia ter ficado 30 minutos à espera, não me importava nada, mas o claro desligar do telefone, sim é daqueles telefones antigos que se ouve tudo, especialmente o bater antes de desligar, foi decepcionante.
Liguei de volta passado uns minutos, e a mesma recepcionista disse, "ah, desculpe, caiu a chamada"
Não, não caiu. Desligou.

A segunda situação foi já no turno da noite, passei com a minha esposa várias vezes pela recepção, disse boa noite repetidas vezes, nunca, nem uma vez o senhor se dignou a responder.

Informação de que o hotel possui estacionamento - mas ao chegar verificamos que não há vagas disponívels para todos e foi necessário pagar estacionamento. O banheiro do quarta não estava totalmente limpo
Ok, but nothing that would justify the 4 stars the hotel claims to have.
Breakfast is ok, but again nothing worth the 4 stars. Pastries, bread rolls, jam, juice and yoghurt. Coffee machine does not really work.
Noise from the tram / metro in front of the hotel. It operated till midnight and after a break starts at 05:00. The windows are not that much help against the noise, as they are from the 80s.
The hotel is popular with tourist groups. The group tends to block half of the table and to cause so much noise you cannot hear yourself thinking. The two members of the staff assigned to the breakfast room cannot handle such large groups, they barely manage to clear the dishes, bring out fresh food and clean dishes. When the group has left, it looks like after a battle.
The worst thing for us was the room: We had a room on the 9th floor. The kitchen is on the 10th floor. Noise from the kitchen starts at 06:00 in the morning and ends at 23:00. The noise is similar to construction noise, metal falling and heavy objects being moved. When the noise started in the evening I went to the reception and was told that this is a known problem but that the management insists on the rooms on the 9th floor being rented out without notifying the guests of the noise. I was told that there is nothing they could do and that the hotel is fully booked, so we cannot change the room. Complaints with management (after a short night) the next morning lead only to them offering us a free night within the next 6 months at the hotel some days later by mail. This was very much useless to us, as like most tourists we did not intend to visit Porto this winter.
