Great place to stay.
Pros:

We were in Alpha, one of their Town House rooms. It was lovely & relaxing. My eggs benedict was freshly cooked and one if the best I have had. Perfect location to see a show that was 8 minutes walk away. Lovely staff.

Pros:

Some might find the Town House/Georgian House concepts a little difficult, being set apart from the main building, but actually it's a lot of fun if you get into the spirit! Breakfast was first class - definitely one of the better options compared to what one can encounter elsewhere in other hotels. Great range of options and attentive staff. Plus a fantastic historical interior!

Cons:

Potentially, getting to breakfast in the pouring rain from the Georgian House/Town House might be a tad difficult, but this was not encountered on my stay.

Very pleasant Hotel
Pros:

The location of very near to the Swansea Arena and local restaurants which is a big positive

Cons:

We love this hotel but we were disappointed that food isn’t served such as sandwiches. This can be off putting. I booked vacation a Booking.Com. It wasn’t clear that we were booking a town house room. Ideally we wanted to stay in the main hotel. This needs to be clear.

The bed was large and very comfy, good size room.
Bathroom included toiletry items.
Staff were friendly.

Cons:

Only one hard wood chair in the room. Would expect at least one (preferably two) comfy' armchair(s) in a room to sleep two.
Assorted coffee and tea offering only included two standard breakfast tea teabags so disappointed with that.
Only stopped for one night so did not request more.
Carpet had a few bits of fluff and dirt on it.

Pros:

It was mine and my boyfriends first time going away together, to celebrate our one year anniversary! Staff were so lovely and helpful and the location was perfect. The room was very clean and really nice. I’d recommend anyone to go here. We will definitely be coming back in the future !

Pros:

Amazing breakfast. We stayed in the Town House - was very comfortable and quiet. Bathroom very well equipped, excellent shower and lovely toiletries

The Darwin room needs an easy chair or similar. There is plenty of space. Only chair is a hard chair at the dressing table. Not a major concern, just an even better if

Great location, lovely staff and a lovely hotel, but the particular room we had could’ve been improv

Loved the breakfast and loved the location I also loved all the common areas, including the bar and the room for breakfast

Cons:

Although the room was quiet, it was up a flight to stairs once you’ve got into the room door (Aventis ) which made me worry a little bit about fire risk and that room was a little bit on the stuffy side and some of the floor corners were dusty. I wouldn’t rush back for the same room even though the furniture and the layout was nice, it was just a bit too airless and with only one Window I did have a slight worry in the event of a fire even though a fire was unlikely to happen!
