Very cozy and charming hotel
Pros:

The hotel is very cozy and charming with finely crafted details and warm and relaxed vibes. The atmosphere is nice and homely. At the reception, Martin was very welcoming, provided all kind of useful information and contributed to make our stay very pleasant. The location of the hotel is great as it is close to all main attractions, restaurants and shops, yet remaining very quiet. Merida is a vibrant gem and was a discovery for us - the city and our stay will remain memorable :-)

Awesome staff
Pros:

The people- Martin the manager, Gabriel and Dulce at the front desk, made our stay wonderful. Great location next to the park.
The pool was a welcome respite in the afternoon hours. Our room was clean and comfortable.
We look forward to another visit!

La falta de comunicación y honestidad arruinaron esta estancia. Obras y remodelación no comunicadas

Cons:

Están realizando trabajo de remodelación en las habitaciones y es algo que no tienen informado con anticipación. El ruido es insoportable, el polvo, la alberca estaba sucia, musica de los albañiles y trabajadores así como ruido de cortadoras, martillos y cinceles. Horrible!!
Si dicen que mayo es temporada baja y necesitan remodelar, que cierren temporalmente el hotel, pues es decepcionante llegar a tus vacaciones y ver esta situación. Iba a estar 5 noches, solo me quedé una noche.
Y la actitud del "pseudo gerente" poco menos que empática, cordial, con habilidad de solucionar una mala experiencia de su cliente...bueno ningún tipo de habilidad comunicativa, resolutiva o de hospitalidad...
Simplemente, pues recorta tu estancia y te puedes ir.
Claro, fue lo que le dije que haría y cumplí, pero si tienes un hotel o manejas un hotel deberías de aprender un poco de hospitalidad, sin embargo, son cualidades que los verdaderos hoteleros desarrollamos y apreciamos, no solo un persona x que tiene dinero para poner un negocio y busca el beneficio económico sin importar otra cosa.

La Sra. Dulce, en la recepción, fue muy cordial y amable desde la llegada. Ella misma ofreció comunicar al "gerente" de mi decepción al ver las obras de remodelación y así lo hizo. Potencial de talento para trabajar en un mejor lugar, sin duda. Gracias por la atención.

Would 10/10 recommend!
Pros:

It was a beautiful green hotel that was decorated with a lot of thought and effort. Check-in was very easy and informative, and all of the reception staff were super friendly and helpful. The rooms were bigger than expected and also recently renovated, I think. The pool was the perfect size for cooling off and the breakfasts were also great. Walking distance to everything. We had a very pleasant stay!! Would recommend!

Cons:

Only one downside - no available free drinking water for guests.
