A Iluminação do quarto é escura no lavatório.
O acesso ao quarto com pouca acessilidade, escadarias dificultam deslocamentos, principalmente o check out
A higiene dos banheiros da recepção é ruim.

Pros:

Good location and helpful baggage service.

Cons:

Dinner is served during timed slots and you have little choice about when. Service is slow. Prior reviews spoke of sewage smells, I didn't smell anything before I went to bed but noticed it in the morning.

Best bar man!
Pros:

When we traveled to Machu Picchu our lunch spot was at El Mapi. It was also during the World Cup and we needed a place to watch a game. Jose in the bar was amazing!! So much knowledge of the area, amazing drinks and service and always with a smile. I wish all service people were like Jose.

Pros:

Quizás sea mejor regresar a Olllantaytambo.

Buen hotel
Pros:

Me gustó la ubicación del hotel
La comida muy buena

Cons:

La verdad no puedo criticar el hotel en general...porque su estructura esta acorde al precio. Es un buen hotel para quedarse si el propósito de la visita es ir a Machupichu. No es un hotel para disfrutar

A nice enough hotel, ideally placed for your visit to Machu Pichu
Pros:

A nice modern looking, and generally well appointed hotel.
My room was quite large, clean, and had a huge bed that would easily accommodate 3 people😉The writing painted on the wall above the bed seemed a little odd though.
The bathroom was ok but a little tired around the edges, and having the instructions for the towel cleaning in large black letters on the shower curtain again felt a little weird.
Breakfast was the usual buffet style and had a decent variety and choice, sadly no bacon though,
All the staff were very friendly and helpful, although they did get a little confused in the bar when it was busy,
A nice enough hotel, ideally placed for your visit to Machu Pichu

Not so great
Pros:

Not so great - my room smelled very musty. King bed and a white robe to wear. Got a fan which at least moves the musty air around. The fan was dusty. Funky shower - not very hot water - weird curtain- shower drains slow so you are standing in 2” Of water. - had a bottle of 1/2 used shampoo on counter. Refrigerator doesn’t work. Loud outside rooms. Restaurant breakfast was good.

El Crapi, paying guests ,badly treated in the main restaurant.
Pros:

Lovely clean bedrooms.Dont bother with half board ,go out for your evening meal,as a guest in this hotel you are treated badly in the restaurant for your evening meal.

The restaurant experience in this hotel is appalling.

We were half board and had trekked up machu picchu,so a pretty busy day,we checked in and asked for a table at the restaurant.

There was nothing until 9pm ,but then was offered to swap out to lunch the next day.
This was also offered to a couple of other guests we had made friends with.

We asked again for an earlier table and was given a 7.30pm table.

What a shambles.Under staffed ,dirty seating areas ,the tables weren't all set up.

The food was terrible, I left my food ,cold mash and stewed venison in a wine sauce.

It seemed that the restaurant was booked up with people coming in off the main Street,or restaurant bookings .So as a paying guest staying the night, they didn't care at all about you.

I had emailed the hotel to say it was my husband's 60th and they did leave a nice note and some pastries in the room.

So room only ,if I were you, breakfast was also pretty basic.

Overpriced dorm room
Pros:

There were lots of plants and the grounds were pretty. The location was excellent!

Cons:

The hotel itself is pretty but the rooms are quite sparsely decorated and very bare. It felt like staying in an overpriced dorm room with gray cement floors and no art work/decorations on the wall. Beds were very hard and not comfortable. The lighting is very strange in the room. You can either leave on the overhead lights which are quite harsh or these strange gooseneck side lights that are like tiny spotlights. There are no lamps in the room.

It is very overpriced for the facilities and not worth the extra money for the full board. We brought our four-year-old and they charged us an extra $200 for him on arrival (for 2 nights) even though he didn't eat any of the food.

They offer dinner at three different times but that was not indicated when we booked. When we arrived at 6 PM, we were told that we could not have dinner until 9 PM because the 6 PM and 7:30 PM seatings were too full. Dinner is very VERY slow service, but the food was good.

We rented three rooms and had a problem with every single room. The suite that we rented for three people had only one towel in it and no hot water. The second room had no Wi-Fi. The third room had no toiletries and had no hot water on the last morning. The hallways and hotel are LOUD so bring ear plugs.

Furthermore, the only place they have clean drinking water is in the lobby which is quite a far walk with many many steps. (did I mention all the steps??? ) Other hotels in the area offered water on each floor of the hotel and this is definitely something this Hotel can improve upon since you can't drink the water from the tap.

In summary, this hotel is owned by the same company that owns the Inkaterra and is not worth the money. I would spend your money at nicer and cozier hotel owned by someone local and eat out at the hundreds and hundreds of restaurants in the area.

I expect better from the Inkaterra brand.
Pros:

I really expected better from the Inkaterra brand.
Upon arrival, after a long day of travel, all we wanted was a hot shower. But no hot water. We called and were told “it will be fixed in 30 minutes”. Later that day, at best, it was baby water warm. The following morning, no hot water. But as we had tix to Machu Picchu, and figured it’d be hot, we’d shower when we returned. And you guessed it: no hot water. After multiple excuses and assurances that we’d have hot water “in 2 hours”, we received baby water temps, not hot. Complaining to multiple higher ups, I received an email from Luis Matute Moreno, offering apologies and platitudes but no explanations or anything.
You are required yo pay in advance so you really have no recourse: we would have moved immediately. But don’t we have the right to expect basic accommodations from a so-called 4-star hotel of the Inkaterra hotel group?!
Breakfast is atrocious: you beg for a coffee cup, often scrounge for cutlery, and the eggs appear to be dumped from a pre-paid plastic bag of eggs.
Dinner is included. Avoid at all costs. We’re fairly certain that we both received food poisoning of some sort (and were both vegetarian.
There are lots of places to choose from. I’d recommend looking at other properties first.

Avoid if possible
Pros:

Avoid if possible. One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at. It is NOT a 4 star hotel. Breakfast was utter choas. No cups or plates. People were drinking coffee from bowls. Arrived after a 10 hour journey and was given dinner reservation in another 2 hours. Refused to move even though restaurant had tables. We went out instead. Dinner was included in our stay and I think they do this deliberately. The room smelt damp and shower lukewarm. Horrible experience
