Sobre todo, las vistas al mar desde ese precioso ventanal, y la respuesta del personal cuando le referimos el mal olor de la habitación. Primero limpiaron a fondo, y cuando vieron que no se quitaba, nos cambiaron a otra de superior categoría.

El mal olor de la primera habitación, era un olor a cañería. Nos cambiaron de habitación.
El hotel, a pesar de ser un cuatro estrellas, necesita una reforma integral, tiene un aire antiguo, a pesar de que en general está limpio, excepto los grandes ventanales, que, por razones obvias, no pueden estarlo siempre. Por ejemplo, no tiene prácticamente zonas comunes de descanso y lectura, solo una zona junto a recepción con dos sillones y un tresillo, con una máquina de refrescos. No tiene cafetería, aunque te avisan que pueden llevarte a la habitación lo que pidas.
Está a unos 20’ andando del centro de Gijón, aunque la zona en la que está es muy animada, y tiene de todo.
El garaje con el que está asociado es relativamente barato (20 euros el día), junto al hotel, pero sin carga eléctrica y un aspecto tercermundista (paredes desconchadas, aparcamientos muy estrechos, muchas columnas, sucio)
Para el precio que tiene el hotel, en general, demasiados inconvenientes.

Pros:

El hotel tiene una ubicación excepcional frente al mar y además caminando llegas al casco histórico en 10 minutos. La habitación muy cómoda y con tamaño adecuado.

Cons:

Nos tocó una habitación con vistas hacia atrás y la verdad es que fue un poco decepcionante.
