The location of the inn was really great and the location of the room was great too! I liked the ambience as well, it had a lot of southern charm.
The noise level in the room above was above normal. Lots of stomping and pounding late evening and early morning hours.
Very nice and friendly staff
Perfect location! Absolutely adorable.
The location was close to the market. The rooms were quiet, the AC worked really well, and I loved the lobby/outdoor seating where you could enjoy breakfast and coffee in a real mug!
Valet parking is available, and the people were friendly, but the lot where your car is parked is pretty far, and the process is slow. They don't park cars quickly after they are dropped, and it causes a traffic jam in front of the hotel. Overall, it's a very minor issue, and with a little improvement in timeliness, it could be fixed.
I could not ask for a better location in historic area of Charleston. It was right on point for everything we needed.
I liked everything about it. It was nice quiet comfortable felt safe.
Staff was nice, room was very nice and clean.
Great location
Would have loved to have a restaurant on site but the happy hour was nice.
We had a wonderful stay at Meeting Street Inn! The location is perfect, making it easy to explore historic Charleston on foot. The staff was warm and welcoming, the courtyard was beautiful, and the complimentary wine and cheese at 5 pm was such a lovely touch. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily come back!
The location was excellent. Super close to the Market and very walkable to many of the restaurants and sites we wanted to visit.
The 5:00 wine and cheese was a very nice touch, as was the cookies and milk at 8.
Breakfast was ok. It was more like what I would expect at a chain hotel.
We recently stayed at The Meeting Street Inn for an extended long weekend. We were there with family, all of us seniors. We found the inn to be comfortable. The location and the atmosphere were great. Our room was very nice, although more attention could have been paid to vacuuming the carpets. While breakfast was just adequate on weekdays, we found that it was much better on the weekend with many more offerings. All in all, we would definitely stay there again.
continental breakfast
wine and cheese at 5 P{M
left bolt on toilet seat needed tightning
1 of 4 bulbs over vanity burnt out
No water provided guests for our whole stay. We shouldn't have had to purchase it. We were in a double room, 110 back in the employee laundry bin area which was dark and crowded with the bins, and very hot vs. other double rooms across from the pool that per a maid, were open and unused. Limited/difficult parking in front of hotel to check in/out. Challenging to navigate through courtyard with luggage caddy. Staff cleaning up after breakfast and wine/cheese presentation need to stop slamming dishes in general into and out of the dishwasher. On a positive note, we thought the breakfast and wine/cheese selections were very nice. Suggest self park for $25/night. Lot is uncovered and unguarded, approx. 3 blocks away but walkable. Overall good location for dining/shopping/historic sites.
Great location. Clean and good service
