There were no sild curtains in the room and could not sleep .. the sound was too much ,and had to keep asking for water to be sent to the room ... the breakfast was sorry affair as well , ended up having itl at the zolo crust ..

Great place to stay, simple!
Pros:

Great building. Brilliant staff. Reservation was easy. Very warm welcome, efficient check in . Taxi transfers to and from airport arranged at a fair price with safe drivers. Initial pick up was efficient and polite. Reception organised a driver and car to key sights in city. Safe and efficient service, lots seen in short time again for a fair price. Certainly made to feel a valued customer, thank you everyone.

Cons:

Pool surround dirty. Cylindrical shaped rungs on pool ladders are never a comfy idea, what is wrong with a flat step??

Very scary and disappointing experience.

Cons:

Not very safe. One person tried to barge in using master key. Initially the telephone rang which I was not able to pick. After sometime one person barged in without even knocking on the door. On questioning he said he had come to give an iron, which I had not asked for. Very scary. Complained to the duty manager. They had no complaints register, which was strange. Clearly the intention was burglary.
While checking in the clerk was sitting on a chair busy with other guest. No extra chairs in the reception for guests waiting. The clerk should be standing not sitting. He was busy crunching numbers while I had to wait.
Food was pathetic. I had expected genuine food that Lucknow is famous for but we were disappointed.

Indeed pleasurable , unique experience . the marbles ,decorations ,aesthetics were great.
Pros:

Though we were late for breakfast still managed to get nice grilled sandwich and omelette.

Cons:

Cheerful staff as they looked tired, my observation completely.
