I booked a room that included parking. I called the reception spoke to Matheus and asked where the parking was and was told Wilson’s car park on the same street. On check out I was told I had parked in the wrong Wilson’s car park, but the car park next to the hotel had NO signage for Wilson’s therefore I had to pay an additional $50.
There was only coffee in the room, no tea, shame!
Carpet had staining next to the bed.

Pros:

On site restaurant was surprisingly good; asian fusion, both eat in and room service. room was incredibly quiet for such a central location.

Cons:

limited hanging space. Large sliding door to bathroom made room feel cramped as it blocked the entry way when open, making hallway redundant and underutilised. Bedsheets were clingy fabric rather than crisp cotton, and lacked a top sheet. Don't forget to request an iron and ironing board from the front desk if you need one.

It was central, walking or driving distance to eatries. The bed was comfortable but the room was small.

Cons:

I'm giving this hotel a 7, I actually wanted to give it a lower score because of what the staff did. I stayed 1 night checked out before the check out time of 10am. They said my bond will be credited back into my account. That afternoon around 5.30pm I got a notification from my financial institution that money came out my account. I was shocked to see it was Quay hotel that debited my account of close to $360!. And this was not the bond money! My bond money was not refunded and I was charged an additional $360. I called and ask them why was I charged, they said it's a cleaning fee, that the cleaner spotted a spot in the carpet. The staff was surprised when I said my financial institution notified me. She said "oh you were notified?" So bizzare. I asked them to send this 'supposed picture of this stain' they did not send me anything, no picture, nothing. I was prepared to go back to the hotel with the police because that was day light robbery. They eventually gave me my refund. I'll never stay in this hotel.

Corporate centre was very good

Cons:

The rooms were obviously designed by a psychopath that holds the guest in contempt for being dumb enough to be conned by bot driven positive reviews. They simply are not acceptable hotel rooms. They could only possibly be excused by an overnight business traveler.
Having an adjoining sandwich shop does not make this a 4 star hotel.
Ibis is probably better for the money - certainly no worse
