No windows or balcony, room was bare bones and likely more expensive due to the location of the hotel. Can hear neighbouring residents when they open and close doors in the middle of the night.

We got a great package deal on Booking.com that included parking, breakfast and late check out.
I called ahead to hotel reception to ask if I could have my birthday cake delivered prior to check in. They really went above and beyond! Not only did they hold the cake for us in the kitchens, but when we got to our room there was a Happy Birthday sign and chocolates for our arrival.
Each time we return the staff go out of their way to ensure our stay is amazing!
The only critique I could possibly make from a guest experience would be the walk from the parking garage to the hotel entrance. Where the stairs/lifts exit, you have to walk past the back service area where the kitchen bins and linen trolleys are stored, and wheel your bags through puddles of kitchen hose down water. Traditionally these areas aren't guest facing, so maybe just some more planning on how to keep them cleaner or more organised for guest passage.
