Dinner was tasty, front desk staff was lovely.
Side of shower was loose and kept falling off, pillows were pancake flat, bedding very uncomfortable, one bed (and only one) full of midges, was paper thin and ppl next door very loud.
We liked the front staff. They were great. Friendly, patient, and tried to do their best to solve several issues. The front desk staff was friendly, patient, and professional. They genuinely tried their best to resolve the issues we encountered and were always courteous and helpful.
We requested a twin room in writing before our arrival. However, when we checked in, we were assigned a room with one double bed and a sofa bed because the manager had changed our room assignment. The sofa bed had virtually no padding over hard wooden slats, and the person who slept on it woke up with significant shoulder and neck pain.
The hotel was fully booked, and the only available twin room was on the third floor. After inspecting it, we found it to be considerably smaller than the room we had reserved. We also discovered there was no elevator, and the stairway design made carrying luggage to a third-floor room difficult.
Our room overlooked the parking lot and was next to the area where staff disposed of trash and other materials. Noise from these activities disrupted the quiet that guests should reasonably expect. We were also disturbed around midnight by heavy footsteps and noise from the room above.
The room was not properly prepared for our arrival. The sheets on the sofa bed were dirty, and the dining table where we were seated for breakfast had not been cleaned before we sat down.
Overall, the incorrect room assignment, uncomfortable sleeping arrangements, cleanliness issues, noise, and lack of an elevator made this a disappointing stay.

- Ontbijt was ondermaats.
- Na 23u niemand meer aanwezig.
very good location, with parking in the heart of inverness.
very run-down hotel -- upon arrival there was no toilet paper, insufficiently many towels (which was quite surprising, since we arrived in the evening) -- replenished upon request, but not sure house-keeping even got to the room that day, and some lights weren't working. When we asked about fixing the lights, they said they can't fix it (or rather, won't...). Room was dusty, and some rust in various places in the bathroom. we managed to get the last parking spot (by sheer luck), because they could not guarantee / allow reserving a parking spot (which made us anxious). No elevator, very pricey extra-charge breakfast (we didn't try it, considering the general state of the hotel). Quite expensive for what you get.
The Beaufort hotel was in a great location and the public areas were beautifully decorated. We only ate breakfast at the hotel but it was excellent with locally sourced produce and plenty of freshly cooked options.
We arrived a little early and were told that our room wasn’t ready and to come back at 3pm. This was completely fair as we knew what the check in time was. The hotel stored our bags for us and we went for a lovely walk down the river.
At 3.30pm we returned and were given our room key, went up to our room only to find that it hadn’t been cleaned! We were given a drink in the bar while we waited for our room to be cleaned but it wasn’t ready until 5pm.
The room itself was tired with peeling paint on the bathroom ceiling and just hand soap as our toiletries in the bathroom. However the room itself was very comfortable.
This room was nice and clean looked like a new make over, lots better than my last stay,
Nothing
staff were very friendly. bed was extremely comfortable
Room was very small, but this did match the photos.
The location
The stuff
The rooms was small with a parking view on room 44 .There was no privacy and it was noisy, the other hosts were looking into the room from outside
Die Lage ist super- Zu Fuss ist man in wenigen Minuten beim Castle und in der Stadt. Das Frühstück war sehr leckker.
Die Betten waren sehr durchgelegen und unangenehm.
Upon checkng in there was an issue with the room. I discussed this with the front desk who were very understanding and professional. I was instantly moved to an alternative room which exceeded my expectations. The way this problem was handled was excellent, and the replacement room really made our stay significantly better. Thanks to the young fella who helped and to the Manager who instantly resolved this without delay or fuss (and with good humour).
The bar being left unattended meant waiting lengthy periods to get service on two of the three occassions we used it. That was frustrating.
Also one or two of the younger staff would benefit from customer service training.
Location and comfort
Sound proofing between the floors - I could hear every step made by fellow guests above me.
Ubicación fantástica a 3 cuadras del castillo. El personal muy amable y el hotel es muy lindo. El estacionamiento es grande y cómodo para los que viajamos en auto. Lo recomiendo.
Nada
The location was perfect, a short 5 min walk into the centre. The hotel was lovely, decor tasteful and the outside sitting area was a nice place for a nice lunch & drinks.
I wouldn’t say I didn’t like anything but the attention to detail wasn’t quite there. Eg. No water in room, no toiletries, only liquid soap, the hairdryer bag was there but no hairdryer. Where this wasn’t a problem for us as we had our own water etc and staying just a night didn’t require the hairdryer but they should have been there. It’s only constructive criticism for guest experiences. Breakfast was lovely but again, attention to detail wasn’t missing: no plates for the cold meat only bowls at the continental selection, limited offerings, just 1 plate of gammon and no cheese, the Scottish breakfast was delicious however no toast was offered and it was too late to ask for it. The staff were pleasant. If the small things noted are provided then the hotel would elevate itself.
Didn't have breakfast
The room was £225 a night it wasn't up to that standard.
