Breakfast was splendid with a good variety made esp. bananas.
Double/triple glazing was helpful given the drilling sounds from a demolition site only meters away.
Location is ideal to stretch the legs adequately down the main highstreet shopping street and up to the huge towering church.
Cab service from hotel is awesome which Reception Staff arranged to taxi us to the Skarfabakki Cruise Terminal (highly recommended).
The faucet in the bathroom sink is odd with an unbearable vibrating rumble sound coming out LOUD & rumbling when the hot water was chosen!!!
The windows glass panels are lime-stained on the outside making depriving good sunset photography.

All the staff were pleasant. Central location
The beds were far too soft. It didn't even feel like a proper mattress. I still have back pain from sleeping on it. The windows are not well insulated. There are coaches parked with their engines running from 3am onwards picking people up for the airport. Overall a terrible nights sleep and wouldn't recommend the hotel to anyone.
The view from the upper floor room was really beautiful. The hotel is quiet, everything works, breakfast is very good. The hotel also provided early morning breakfast bag for the taxi trip to the Keflavik Airport.

We stayed here at the beginning and end of our Iceland Adventure. Conveniently located, walking distance to all Reykjavík sites. Great views, from our room we could see both the church and the harbor. It was by far the best and most varied of all the breakfasts we had at 5 different hotels. Staff was warm and friendly. And on a nice day, which we were lucky to have, we were able to walk back from the Hertz Rental Car drop off a day earlier as suggested. I would stay here again!
Third time staying at this hotel! The location is wonderful and the staff is very helpful. If I go to Iceland again this is where I’ll stay.

Beautiful rooms but the paid parking was annoying. Staff was courteous and the overall feel was modern and comfortable
The location, staff, food, service all exceptional. My only complaint was that the the beds had pillow tops instead of normal mattresses. The mattresses moved and were uncomfortable to sleep on.
