Great for a short stay
Pros:

Location of the place is easy access to Main Street of town. Parking is easy and plenty of it out the back. Room is a little tired but due to the age of the property it is understandable. Easy check in process as the bar.

Cons:

Was a little concerned with the power situation. Lots of power boards and cords everywhere. The Bathroom had a shower/bath, so if you can not step in and out of a bath it would not be recommended. No internet in the premiss so TV option was limited to only local stations.

Short winter stay at Settlers House
Pros:

The whole experience was very good. Staff friendly and not rushed. Building and surrounds are good , parking easy access.
Room was very good , quiet and everything worked and was in good order.
Had a room with spa bath tub which was good size, water hot. Great experience, ground floor bar diner was good with great staff.

Cons:

I cannot really criticise anything , great location and easy to navigate on foot.

A great place to stay for the night to visit Yorkids but I wouldn’t want to spend the money to stay here for longer unle

Staff were so friendly and wonderful.
Location was fantastic.
Room was clean.
Plenty of amenities in the room (microwave, kettle, crockery).

Cons:

Bed (4 poster) was so rickety and the mattress felt quite lumpy. Sheets weren’t fitted so hard to get them to stay in place. AC was blasting warm air all night but no controller in the room to change it.
