Overall good safe stay - I would recommend it!
Pros:

Welcome & check in
we were greeted with warm towels and welcome drink. We were seated until check in is done, I think it took about 5-8 mins. Hotel personnel explained everything and were polite. Room was tidy and ready for move in.

Location is great, very safe, windows have a good view especially in the higher floors. AC worked really well.

The water didn’t work, we called the receptionist, and it was fixed within 45 -60mins to be far but the water didn’t have the cleanest smell during our entire stay, maybe because of a clog.

Also they give you one key, and u need it to access the elevator to go anywhere so it doesn’t make sense to give 2 people 1 card.

Escalator took so much time to come and sometimes skipped the floor even though its marked from before.

There was also a staff room/storage on my floor the door was always open there was electricity cords everywhere it looked very creepy. It shouldn’t be open/should anyone see it, especially if there are kids…it could be dangerous

⭐️ 1 Star — Extremely Disappointing Experience

Honestly, this hotel was a huge disappointment and nowhere near the standard I expected. The property is poorly maintained and appears to have been neglected for some time.

The elevator is constantly breaking down, which is extremely inconvenient for guests. On top of that, there seems to be construction or maintenance work going on every single day. The constant banging and drilling are unbearable and completely ruin any chance of having a peaceful stay.

The smell throughout the building is absolutely horrible. It is difficult to understand how guests are expected to stay comfortably in an environment with such persistent unpleasant odours.

The condition of the rooms is even more concerning. The walls are swollen and visibly covered with mould. This is completely unacceptable for hotel accommodation and raises serious concerns about hygiene and the general condition of the property.

Unfortunately, the staff service was also disappointing. Some members of staff clearly need better training, as the level of professionalism and customer service was inconsistent.

Overall, this hotel desperately needs proper management, maintenance and investment. The combination of mouldy rooms, terrible smells, constant construction noise, a repeatedly faulty elevator and poorly trained staff made the stay extremely unpleasant.

For what guests are paying, this standard is simply unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel and would certainly not stay here again unless there are significant improvements.

Management really needs to take these complaints seriously. Guests deserve much better.

La ubicacion y limpieza

Cons:

La ducha estropeada, en vez de ducha en rociador parecía la cascada del niagara, las tarjetas de entrada a la habitacion no funcionaban correctamente, ni encencía la luz de la habitación y tubimos que bajar 3 veces hasta que por fin funciono.

He de decir que pasamos otra noche anteriormente a esta y todo iba perfecto, además había albornoces, cosa que en la 2a ocasión tampoco estaban siendo habitaciones de la misma categoria.

Pros:

Very nice staff at the reception.Ruth cleared all the confusion i had with my breakfast booking and she was very kind and respectful.Janet and Elly welcomed me warmly and always assisted me where i was stuck.The cleaning service lady was extremely kind.I would definitely come back again because of such sweet and amazing services.

The staff at the breakfast team need to be more patient as during the confusion in the breakfast booking i felt so nagged i couldn’t even enjoy the breakfast without interruptions on certain questions which Ruth at the reception later helped clear.

The noise of work to the lifts and renovations to the new restaurant. Just unlucky with the timing of my stay .. once the work is complete and the new restaurants are open and the new Hugh speed lifts are installed it’ll be THE place to stay in Westlands

Pros:

Ce que nous avons particulièrement apprécié, c’est l’écoute et la réactivité de l’établissement. Lors de notre première nuit, nous occupions une chambre depuis laquelle nous entendions les festivités d’un anniversaire. Le lendemain, nous avons demandé à changer de chambre afin de bénéficier de davantage de calme. L’équipe a répondu favorablement à notre demande et nous a installés dans une chambre située à un étage plus élevé (5ᵉ étage – chambre 501), qui s’est révélée beaucoup plus calme. Nous avons apprécié leur réactivité.
Pour le reste, l’accueil est toujours aussi fabuleux et le service de restauration est vraiment excellent.
Il s’agissait de notre troisième séjour dans cet établissement, et ce fut un réel plaisir d’y revenir et de retrouver ce lieu que nous apprécions.
Depuis notre précédent passage en avril, le hall a été rénové et une petite boutique de souvenirs a fait son apparition. L’ensemble est agréable, même si nous gardons une certaine nostalgie de l’ancien hall, dont l’atmosphère était particulièrement majestueuse avec ses magnifiques lustres, aujourd’hui disparus.
Une très belle adresse à Westlands, où nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Cons:

Ce que nous avons moins apprécié concerne principalement le bruit et le manque d’information à ce sujet.
Avant notre arrivée, nous avions spécifiquement demandé une chambre au calme. Nous avons pourtant été installés, de mémoire, dans la chambre 301, située au 3ᵉ étage. Or, une fête d’anniversaire se déroulait au rez-de-chaussée, à proximité de la piscine, et le niveau sonore était suffisamment important pour être dérangeant dans notre chambre.
Avant même de nous installer complètement, nous avons signalé le problème à la réception. Il nous a alors été indiqué que la fête devait se terminer prochainement, et nous avons donc accepté de rester dans cette chambre pour la nuit.
Malheureusement, dès le lendemain matin, nous avons de nouveau été réveillés et dérangés, cette fois par d’importants travaux de démolition ou de gros œuvre réalisés dans l’établissement. Ce qui nous a surtout déçus, c’est de ne pas avoir été informés au préalable de l’existence de ces travaux et des nuisances sonores qu’ils pouvaient occasionner.
Nous avons trouvé cela vraiment regrettable, d’autant plus qu’il s’agissait de notre troisième séjour dans cet établissement et que nous avions pris soin de demander, en amont, une chambre au calme.
À notre demande, l’établissement a néanmoins accepté de nous changer de chambre pour la suite du séjour, et nous avons alors été installés au 5ᵉ étage (chambre 501), où nous avons heureusement retrouvé beaucoup plus de tranquillité.
