Pros:

We stayed at the PrideInn Azure for 12 nights as part of our honeymoon. The staff were very friendly. They always did their best to provide whatever you needed. Fridge in the room was helpful. The room was spacious, extremely clean, and everyday many fresh water bottles were provided in the room for drinking water. The breakfast buffet has good options - lots of hot/fried food, and an egg station where you can order eggs/omelettes as you like. We also ate dinner in the hotel a few times - the food is fine, good options, but it's not exemplary.

Cons:

The hotel is quite noisy. This is because the doors have very little insulation so you can hear almost everything in the hallway coming in under your door. We were woken up many days by large groups of guests walking through the hallways on their way to breakfast. The air conditioning unit by the lifts is also very loud, and even though we were far from it, you can still hear it quite loud in your room. There was also construction at the front of the property on the main entrance which we were not informed of in advance and we were woken up / disrupted several times by the loud drilling/hammering noises. In terms of location, Westlands is a nice safe area, but in general, Nairobi is not very accessible for tourists walking - there are hardly any public sidewalks, streetlights, or traffic lights to help you cross the roads on the very busy streets - so wherever you stay in Nairobi, you will likely need to rely on taxis/ubers/bolts to get you around, so I don't think location should factor too much in your decision to chose an accommodation. Overall the hotel is okay, particularly if you are going to be traveling around Nairobi and Kenya and want somewhere in Nairobi to serve as a base that you can come and go from, but the biggest problem is the noise.

War schon einmal dort, War ein Sehr guter Aufenthalt

Als ich ankam war das Computersystem defekt. Musste mehrere Stunden warten um einchecken zu können. Dann wurde mir gesagt das kein Zimmer mehr verfügbar sei. Ich bekäme ein Zimmer in dem Pride Inn Boutique um die Ecke. Um die Ecke war eine halbe stunde Fahrt im dichten Verkehr in Westlands. Das Hotel war einige Standards niedriger (kein pool, kein Aufzug, musste Koffer selber eine Etage schleppen). Gleicher Preis und schlechteres Hotel und über drei Stunden wichtiger zeit verloren...und keine Entschuldigung, kein Angebot das wiedergutzumachen, obwohl ich vorher schon Konferenzen dort organisiert hatte.

Location. We only chose this place due to the wedding venue location, we were the bridal party.

Cons:

We booked 2 twin rooms (4 adults) through booking.com upon our arrival, at checkin, they mentioned they didn’t have two twin rooms. Someone forgot to do their job it seems. Staff response could be better they wasted a lot of time doing simple things, ie the door key was constantly not working and it took ages to get it resolved. By checkout the matter was still unresolved.
