Lovely pool overlooking the city
Pros:

Breakfast was excellent, lots of choice. The staff were very attentive. Great pool overlooking the city. Spacious suite with washing machine.

Cons:

We booked for 4 adults in a double suite and it only had 3 beds. I informed them and they wanted to charge us for an extra bed. After 4 phone calls they agreed that I shouldn’t have to pay.

Pros:

Very clean and smells good lobby and rooms. Wide space. Soft ans comfortable beds. Just across glorieta and orher big establishments and stores.

Cons:

No ready iron and iron board, same with hair dryer, uou have to ask for it pa but they are very quick in responding.

Pros:

The hotel is located close to everything and a shopping center. The reception team, led by Nikko, provides personal attention. I am at the hotel for the fourth time just because of the service and the hills, much better quality than other hotels

The pool and facilities are well maintained and the service at the bar is fast

Cons:

The hotel does not boast a name or a leading chain, but it provides service and treatment that has no competitors

An excellent five star choice for a fantastic stay in the city.
Pros:

The room here was amazing. I wanted to stay in the room just to enjoy the large space & tub & bed. I went to the pool & gym, & both were amazing. This is certainly one of the best pools in the city. I look forward to to coming back an staying longer next time. Staff were super helpful also.

I have no complaints about this property.

Pros:

A really luxurious stay, everything was perfect, the facilities and the staff even more.

Cons:

If I really must find a comment, there was no silent / sleep mode on the aircon, this was not an issue.

This place overall was ok, but I think you can get better bang for buck elsewhere.
Pros:

The room size in the business suites is great, location is good.

The food at the flame restaurant was great, just extortionate prices though. Recommend going and sitting on the rooftop bar at night time for a great view of the city at night. You can also smoke up there.

Cons:

I felt the price you pay for a room even on the 6th floor wasn’t worth the money considering the view is literally facing a shopping mall and a few apartments blocks. For $1,700 AUD you should have a view of the city skyline. When asked about it they said there was no business suites facing the city view.

The breakfast was a let down, the food was just no where near up to standard at the breakfast bars, the only thing I really enjoyed there was the coffee in the morning.

Room was outdated and needs a renovation just in comparison to other hotels I’ve stayed at across the world for similar rates.

My family and I had the best stay at Discovery. We truly appreciated the early check-in, which is rare and something that will definitely make us come back.

The staff were amazing, the rooms were very clean, and the bed and pillows were so comfortable. Overall, it was such a wonderful stay. We’ll definitely book again whenever we’re back in Makati.
