One Farrer Hotel

The hotel doesn’t have proper bar for patrons and the restaurant at sixth floor was closed most of the time except for breakfast.
Breakfast lacks varieties and compared to what it was before COVID, it is really a downgrade. There are no drinking waters in the room and the instructions in the room with regards to sourcing water to drink is an absolute disaster.
The reception and concierge behaves indifferently towards Asian as compared to Europeans.

The staff in The sky lounge provide fantastic service. Excellent location above Farrar station

We had an exceptional dining experience tonight. The staff named Bassam and Sham were professional, attentive, and genuinely warm from the moment we arrived until the end of our meal. Every course was introduced with confidence, our glasses were always refilled promptly, and we never felt rushed. The team's attention to detail truly elevated our evening. Highly recommended!

Great location to have good value meal or a cuppa with friends. Or for a round of drinks to wind down your day. Relaxed vibe, chill atmosphere, fabulous staff. Syamala, Hardeep and the whole team at Longshot are simply awesome.

The location is very convenient, with easy access to the MRT and close to shopping areas. The breakfast is very good. Reception staff are outstanding. Param and Eugene were especially helpful during check-in, explaining everything clearly. I was also upgraded to a room on the top floor, which had a great view and a bathtub.

Excellent stay! The location is outstanding, with the MRT just steps away, making it easy to explore Singapore. The hotel has a calm, welcoming atmosphere, and the rooms are spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. It offers excellent value for money for the quality and service provided. We stayed in a Mint Room for a couple's getaway and had a wonderful experience overall.

The Location & Convenience
You really can't beat the convenience of this hotel. It’s located right by the hospital (making it very easy for taxis) and is a mere 2 to 5-minute walk to the MRT station. Having a 7Eleven literally downstairs was a lifesaver for late-night snacks, and major spots like the Mustafa Centre and endless local dining options are just a 5-minute walk away.

The Room & Service
Our Mint Room was surprisingly spacious and very comfortable. One thing we loved was how soundproof the walls were from room to room—we never heard our neighbors. The only downside to the layout was that noise from the hallway/corridor traveled into the room quite easily, though that seems to be the case with almost every hotel these days.

A huge shoutout to the hotel staff—they were incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive. When we mentioned we were heading to Sentosa Island, they proactively reminded us to pack towels so we wouldn't have a difficult time there. It’s those small, thoughtful details that made us love the service.

A Few Minor Tips for Future Guests:

Wi-Fi: We had a lot of trouble with the room internet disconnecting and requiring constant logins. If you run into issues, call the desk and they will give you a different network to connect to, though we mostly relied on our 4G.

Food: Skip the hotel breakfast. At $30 SGD bundled (or $41 SGD walk-in), it is way too expensive. There are fantastic local restaurants just steps outside the hotel where you can get a great meal for a fraction of that price.

We would definitely recommend One Farrer Hotel and will absolutely stay here again!

Excellent service, especially Velan, Chef Jenrick, and Chef Kent. The food is fantastic. Nice ambience for get-together. Must return to try other types of food. This is at Longshot.

After a slow start with the room not being ready upon arrival we were upgraded to the Lotus Villa on the 20th floor. Excellent and attentive service at the Club Lounge from Malek and his team, lovely chocolate cake on our anniversary, and great service from all other staff throughout our stay, whether it be the turn down service, providing ice buckets and umbrellas and preparing the spa bath. Hotel location next to the MRT is great and the trip was good value for money all round. We would be happy to recommend to others. Thanks to everyone for your hospitality, from Jane and Lee.
