Really clean, lovely breakfast and spot on value for price point
Pros:

Breakfast was straight forward hot/cold buffet and very tasty on all the bits we both had. Simple done well works.

The rooms have with lake view have clearly been around awhile but they have been renovated well.

Cons:

The twin bed setup is not the most comfortable arrangement.

Wonderful Stay – A Perfect Relaxing Getaway
Pros:

We stayed here for 3 nights after driving from Sydney and had an absolutely wonderful experience. Compared to the high cost of Sydney, this area felt much more affordable, relaxed, and enjoyable. The town was clean, peaceful, and surrounded by fresh mountain air, making it the perfect place to unwind.

I'm quite particular about beds and bathrooms when choosing accommodation, and this place exceeded my expectations. The bed linens were spotless, fresh, and crisp, the bathroom was also clean and generously sized, and the hot water worked perfectly throughout our stay. Breakfast was excellent value for money and exceeded our expectations. The freshly baked croissants was so absolutely delicious!!

We travelled with our small dog and were delighted to find the accommodation very pet-friendly. The beautiful lake directly in front of the property made morning and evening walks incredibly enjoyable and relaxing. It truly felt like a healing escape from the busy city life.

The town centre was just a short walk away across the road and was impressively clean and well-maintained. We enjoyed exploring the local area and taking in the friendly atmosphere.

A special mention goes to the pub attached to the accommodation. We had dinner there twice during our stay and were impressed by both the quality of the food and the reasonable prices. Every meal was delicious and well worth it.

Another highlight was the location. The national park is only about 30 minutes away by car, giving easy access to some of Australia's most spectacular alpine scenery, including the country's highest mountain. Since we were travelling with our dog, we mainly explored the nearby area, but the location is ideal for skiing, hiking, and outdoor adventures.

Overall, this was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable trips we have had in a long time. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature.
