Very friendly staff.
Easy access, no stairs
Quiet, no disturbance from neighbours or other guests coming home late

Cons:

We could not get heating in bathroom or main room to work.
Luckily it was not too cold

A most enjoyable stay
Pros:

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The good thing is they have parking at a small charge. Also it is just outside the pay zone for a congestion tax and can get to the hotel without entering the zone. It is a short 10 minute picturesque walk and you are in the middle of Oxford action. Besides the accomodation the cafe for breakfast is excellent and the food is outstanding.

Sehr veraltete Zimmer in guter Lage bei überteuerten Preisen
Pros:

Die lagen zum Zentrum und den vorhanden kostenpflichtigen Parkplatz.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war mehr als renovierungsbedürftig. Besonders das Bad. Der Boden der Dusche war verrostet und provisorisch mit weißer Farbe überstrichen die amaturen verkalkt und wackelig...einfach alt. Sehr sehr unschön

La distance avec Oxford

Beaucoup de choses et je dois dire surtout la manière dont le client est traité. Chambre salle, humide et beaucoup de matériel cassé, bruit. Un prix exorbitant pour cela 370euros pour une nuit. Je suis vraiment mécontente. J'attendais au moins un geste financier au vu de la chambre donnée. Je n'ai rien eu. Pas même de la considération qu'effectivement je n'ai pas eu une chambre correcte. Je ne le conseille pas du tout cet endroit. La pire expérience dans un hôtel. .

Great location and breakfast, coupled with tricky parking.
Pros:

All the staff we interacted with were courteous and helpful.
Wonderful breakfast offering in the cafe on the ground floor.
A short walk - 10 minutes or so, into the heart of Oxford.

Cons:

Paid parking allows you to have a permit to park in the residential bays on the roads around the hotel, which are very busy, and narrow, so you do not necessarily get a space near the hotel. (not a show stopper, but something to be aware of).

Easy to check in, parking wasn't available when we was there, but I think because we booked last minute due to our previous booking, being double booked there was no parking left available. Comfy beds, overall nice room.

Cons:

TV didnt work, well the remotes. The £150 refundable deposit was a shock, received it back 2 days after checkout and had to chase for the invoice to be sent.

Schrecklich! Niemals 4 Sterne! Nicht zu empfehlen!

Zentrumsnahe Lage.

Cons:

Noch nie haben wir so eine schlimme Unterkunft erlebt. Die Unterkunft ist nicht mal 2 Sterne wert, wird aber als 4 Sterne Hotel angeboten. Hostel-Charakter, durchgelegenes Bett mit kaputten Federn, keine Bettdecke sondern nur Laken mit Tagesdecke, überall Lufterfrischer weil der Raum extrem muffig nach Schimmelentferner und Abwasser riecht, das „hundefreundliche“ Zimmer war ein Zimmer für Rollstuhlfahrer (Waschbecken auf Kniehöhe!), der Duschvorhang war vergilbt, die Klimaanlage funktionierte nicht mehr richtig weil die letzte Wartung am 4.5.2023 war, überall blinkt es (Rauchmelder, Luftentfeuchter), es ist laut und liegt auch direkt an der Straße hinter den Mülleimern. Für alles soll man extra bezahlen, da z. B. nur der schwarze Haustee im Preis enthalten ist, nicht aber grüner Tee (4,95 Pfund!) etc. Wir waren kurz davor, im Auto zu übernachten, weil wir in dem Zimmer keine Luft bekamen und nicht schlafen konnten. Wir haben die Probleme bei Booking.com bereits gemeldet, damit hier eine Überprüfung bzw. Runterstufung auf 1-2 Sterne stattfindet. Wie diese Unterkunft 4 Sterne bekommen konnte ist uns ein absolutes Rätsel! Das ganze Mobiliar sieht aus, wie zufällig zusammen gewürfelt. Der Frühstücksraum war Empfang, Kofferlager und Restaurant mit unbequemem Mobiliar in einem. Wirklich fürchterlich! Die Anforderungen eines 4 Sterne Hotels wurden hier absolut nicht erfüllt!!!
