Horrible rooms
Pros:

Lovely staff

Cons:

One of the worst designed rooms I've ever stayed in.

The bed is on a platform even though there would be plenty of room for it on the floor. This meant you lie in bed staring at a ceiling 3ft from your face and can't see out the window. There's no headboard so the pillows fall off the back of the bed. There's no relaxing place to sit, just a bench with no back on. There's a small TV half way up the wall but nowhere to sit to watch it. You can only open the windows by climbing on the desk. The ladder up to the mezzanine are so narrow you bash your shoulders.

All round a miserable experience. Couldn't wait to get out of there.

Got my bag stolen in the hotel courtyard. Staff didn’t leave the impression that it hadn’t happened before and were not very communicative/helpful.

Unique and quirky stay with amazing staff
Pros:

It’s a quirky, community oriented place with a history, spacious rooms, super friendly staff and a nice café and restaurant.

Cons:

No A/C in the rooms, only fans and it’s next to a busy road so it’s a trade off between colder air with windows open or quiet during the night.
