The location great to the dome is great and the staff was excellent.
Besides those two great points, I would not stay here again.
The room was smelly from the bathroom, probably because of the heat. A lot of small things in the room were broken that need fixing, such as parts missing in wooden floor, bathroom features broken, coffee machine not working.
Good location only 5 minutes to Duomo and shopping and eateries. Pleasant decor and amazing breakfast with friendly helpful staff.
Our room was adjacent to the stairway to the restaurant, which was open until 11. That meant a lot of noise including wait staff rolling a loud cart from the elevator, and guests coming and going loudly right at our door. That made it difficult to relax and sleep. We would have liked a quieter room.
Breakfast was good but restaurant staff were a little off hand.
There were no tissues in the bathroom and the television didn’t work.
The rooftop terrace was always booked by restaurant guests meaning hotel guests missed out.
Very kind staff and cleanliness
The location could not be better not too far but not too close to the crow and loud noise.
The staff A plus, Princess and Peyman were very pleasant and attentive to our needs. The both were a delight.
Furniture in rooms could be improved.
Close to centre
Hab ein Upgrade auf eine bessere Zimmerkategorie bekommen! Das war eine schöne Überraschung. Va Peyman an der Rezeption war unglaublich hilfsbereit und hat tolle Tips gegeben um die schönsten Plätze der Stadt zu finden. Zimmer war supergroß, im Bad mehr als das sonst übliche vorhanden. Top!
Always a lovely stay at Santa Maya Suites (our 3rd visit). Convenient to the Duomo area of town, many museums, La Scala, and more restaurants and cafes than anyone could ask for, yet situated in a small alley that provides quiet nights. Staff is always friendly and attentive, and happily arranged both restaurant reservations and taxi pickup.

I want to thank Peyman Kafshdoozha who was on reception duty while I stayed at the Santa Marta Suites for the exceptional customer service he gave me. I was compromised with a hip injury and he organised my departure and help with luggage in such a generous and thoughtful way. His knowledge of the city is thorough and he is open and personable and can communicate in many languages. He is a great asset to the hotel.
The decor was lovely. And the staff were simply wonderful.
