Hotel Brossard, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Second séjour ou la machine à café dans la chambre fonctionne pas.

The hotel is located next to a highway in approx. 30 minutes' walk to the nearest Panama REM station. Local transportation in Brossard leaves much to be desired. Therefore, I mostly relied on Uber in order to get to/from Montreal Downtown and on my feet to get to/from the nearest REM station. On another note, it would be great to find a swimming pool or/and a spa in this gorgeous hotel. Also, it would be great to have some veggies for breakfast. And with all due respect the plastic plates and cutlery looked irrelevant in the breakfast area of the hotel of this high standard of comfort and service.

The other guests, many of them were very loud and obnoxious bust that's not the hotel fault

Breakfast room could get rather crowded. Access to local areas complicated by one-way roads.

Il y avait un tournage de film sur les lieux et nous ne pouvons pas circuler à notre guise dans l'établissement. J’aurais apprécié être prévenue.

A few things were disappointing. There were no tea bags in the room, and they didn’t offer daily cleaning. When we asked, they told us that stays of two nights don’t get cleaning service, which wasn’t great. They also didn’t provide toothpaste, so we had to buy some. On top of that, the hotel isn’t really walkable to any stores or shopping areas, so getting basics wasn’t very convenient.

Salle de sport minuscule, chambre plus petite que les photos laissent parraitrent, aire climatisé qui ne fonctionne pas, 2 visites au front desk pour aviser, plus de 2h avant que le concierge arrive, reparte, revienne, reparte, revienne avec un petit ventilateur en nous disant qu'il ne pouvait pas régler notre problème.

We are frequent travellers staying in this hotel, apparently this time the booking rules changed, and we were charged full amount a couple of day in advance, but still with free cancelation. The problem happen than one on the guest arrived late night, actually notifying property about late arrivals, he got to the room, spend a night, but than we notified that his room got cancelled. It took a couple of hours, a lot of stress to figure out that happen, resolve the stay issue, etc. considering that staff call us to empty the room in a middle of the day, while we were in a middle of competition, bring a lot of additional stress .

We were given the wrong rooms that I paid for.
I paid for a room with 2 Queen rooms and was given a room with one queen bed. They provided a cot to make up for it?!?!
How is that comfortable or equivalent to a queen size bed?
The hotel manager sent an email to state they can’t guarantee rooms booked through a third party?
So why did I pay for a room for 2 beds???
Terrible customer service with Booking.com and Hotel Brossard!!!!

Le monsieur de l'accueil donne de mauvaise information. Il dit que le gym ouvre à 7h et le dejeuner aussi. En partant sur le gym c'est écrit ouvert à partir de 6h. Il nous a donnée une chambre qu'il faisait 23, l'air climatisé ne fonctionnait pas, la 237. C'est vieux, c'est désuet, pas de tv intelligente, l'endroit est très sombre. Il y a juste la porte d'entrée principale pour entrée, toutes les portes sont pour urgence seulement. Nous sommes arrivés au déjeuner vers 7h45, il restait juste des oeufs dans les plats chauds. On a attendu un bon 10 min avant d'avoir des saucisses et il y avait un fond de bines et de patates.

The breakfast was not good. The selection of fruit and yogurt was really poor, the coffee taste was not good as well.

The grey room didn’t compare with online images, constant noise from the fridge all night. Breakfast was really unappetising and served on disposable plates, cups & cutlery. The coffee wasn’t good and no water available from the dispenser

We paid for a room with TWO king-size beds for 4 people and were given a room with only ONE king bed. Their "solution" was to bring us a single foldable bed still folded up, plus an opened sofa bed with no linens at all. We were left with only 2 towels for 4 guests.
To make things worse, they put us on a floor full of a junior hockey team that was running around and yelling in the hallway at 7 AM.
Absolutely no consideration for other guests trying to sleep.
The worst part? No reimbursement, no compensation, and barely an apology. We were basically told it was partly our fault because we booked through Booking.com. If hotels don't want guests using those platforms, then why advertise their rooms on them in the first place?
Completely unacceptable service and terrible management. We paid for one thing and received something entirely different. Would never stay here again.
