A beautiful country house in the Cotswolds and a great base to visit many of the pretty villages
Pros:

A lovely hotel nestled in the Cotswolds just off the Cotswold Way, so very much worth a visit. We have returned to this hotel for lunch but not actually stayed and had dinner and it was lovely and completely met our expectations! The staff were really friendly and helpful! At the time of our visit there were a lot of people from the USA which is great to see that they have picked this hotel for their stay in the Cotswolds and some will be coming back! The hotel is very comfortable, lovely bedrooms, comfortable beds and a lovely bathroom. The food in the restaurant was excellent with great service!

Lovely! We will return!
Pros:

Adore Buckland Manor - feels like someone’s personal home. Grounds are lovely and staff friendly and helpful.
Food delicious at breakfast and dinner - adored the shortbread cookies in our room every evening!

Cons:

Enjoyed a drink each night but the bar stacks were disappointing.

Lovely garden setting but perhaps too quant
Pros:

Location, quality of food, lovely garden setting. Friendly staff.

Cons:

Internet was useless, either no signal or intermittent. Shower was not up to standards.
Quant is fine but it still must meet standards.

An outstanding hotel & perfect service.
Pros:

We brought this two night stay for our parents & they were made to feel as special as they are, they said the hotel & grounds were wonderful & the service perfect.
The staff themselves were amazing & couldn’t do enough for them, they were so friendly as well as super efficient.
Thank you from us all for making their stay so memorable.

A very pleasant get away
Pros:

The architecture is sth I always like. The grounds are very well kept , there is a constant care going on.
The breakfast / dining room is perfect having a view over the grounds through beautiful windows

Birthday weekend
Pros:

We had a great birthday weekend. We had a lovely welcome by Sam, and the restaurant staff were hard-working, courteous, attentive and professional - very well led by Tegan. The menu was as good as we had expected. Your Hungarian colleague graciously advised us on things to do in Broadway. We enjoyed the walk over the hill. The Manor itself is a wonderful, very comfortable place, nestled away in a quiet and stunningly attractive surround brightened, on our visit, by all the daffodils and other spring bulbs.

First Stay at Buckland Manor
Pros:

It was our first visit to Buckland Manor and we could not have been more pleased that we chose them to stay at Broadway for a couple of days. The staff -all of them- could not have been more welcoming and attentive. And they were all very cheerful and friendly and it makes a huge difference when you are staying somewhere for the first time. If we travel to that area again, we know where to stay.

More Berni Inn than Buckland Manor.
Pros:

Travelled an hour in the expectation of a Cotswold Sunday Lunch experience. What a let down.
Positives: lovely Hungarian waiter, charming to a fault. Nice selection of wines.
Negatives: blunt cutlery, tough pigeon, scarcely tepid cauliflower cheese & roast potatoes. You got the impression the chef didn’t much care.
Conclusion: won’t be returning in a hurry, if at all.

Fabulous hotel. We plan a return visit when we will combine the trip with visits to local gardens.
Pros:
