A Relaxing Emancipation Weekend at Merrils 2
Pros:

The staff were extremely hospitable. Each day my family and I felt more and more at home. The rooms were large and suitably furnished with mini fridge, two beds, television, dresser and stool, iron and ironing board, adequate lighting, air conditioning, hair dryer etc.
The beach was close to the rooms and so the walk was short to get there.
The dining experience was superb with friendly professional staff. There was great variety in the meals. Big up to Charlie. He really went over and beyond to cater to our dining needs.

Great value for money
Pros:

Great value for the money spent. Didnt think id be able to find affordable all inclusive stays in Negril. This place checked that box. The staff was amazing too.

Pros:

The location along negril white sandy beaches was perfect.

Cons:

1. Parking is extremely limited.
2. The room wasn't clean. From entering the door all the way to the bathroom was dirty. Scales and dirt all over the shower. My wife showered in her slippers. I just didn't shower (no, I'm not nasty, just couldn't convince myself to do it).
3.Towels not clean.
4. No was cloths provided.
5. Says all inclusive but it's a scam. You get breakfast, lunch and dinner. All limited variety and extremely small portions.
6. Pool was dirty and desperately in need of a paint job.
7. Beach was dirty. From seaweed being plentiful in the water to the debris on the shore. Needs attention.

In summary. I paid for 2 rooms for 2 nights. Left after 1 night, could endure the 2nd. Just showing how dissatisfied we were. Wasn't even given a refund for the 2nd night. From the looks of things the owner doesn't really cares about his customers. He seems to be more for the money. Here's a tip for him; happy customer = return customer + good review + referral which means more money for you. Bad product = one time sale, no return and bad reviews resulting in a failing business.

STOP SCAMMING PEOPLE WHO WORK HARD FOR THEIR MONEY AND WANTS TO ENJOY IT!

Sorpréndentemente tranquilo y acogedor
Pros:

Me gustó que limpian la playa, tiene buenas asoleadoras, tiene seguridad, el mar lo tienen demarcado para evitar algún golpe con lanchas. Me gusta el sistema todo incluido. La zona de habitaciones es bonita, son como mini casas, hay agua y café disponible todo el día. Hay un supermercado al ladito el wifi funciona muy bien y los granizados son espectaculares!

Cons:

Que los taxis desde el hotel a ricks café que está a 4 km salen a 20 USD por persona y por trayecto.

Sporca, bagno sporco all’arrivo wc sporco di pipì, scarafaggi che scendevano dal tetto, mancanza di acqua dalla prima sera, cm se fosse un optional e non una brutta figura per la struttura ospitante.
Acquistata una camera vista mare, all arrivo hanno detto che a loro non risultava.
Bevande spazzatura piene di zucchero e alcolici scadenti, dolci e snack miseri e industriali.

Aceptable. Muy buena la ubicación.
Pros:

Es un complejo pequeño con habitaciones cómodas y amplias. Muy limpio. En general, la mayoría del personal, muy amable.
Playa excelente .., con reposeras de sobra .

Cons:

Está catalogado cómo “all inclusive”, la verdad que corresponde más a “pensión completa”.., ya que cuenta solo con 3 comidas, sujetas a determinado horario y con muy pocas variantes.., pero muy buena igualmente..
Específicamente, y esto es lo peor que nos pasó, no salí de mi asombro por el destrato recibido específicamente por una empleada q solo atendía en el bar, no sabemos su nombre, es una muchacha de contextura física bastante grande, realmente muy grosera.., no solo que no respondía nunca a los saludos, sino que actuaba cómo si le molestara que le pidiéramos algo ..( no tomábamos más de 2 gaseosas, ni siquiera tragos, x día ..), realmente esta persona fue lo peor de la estadía.. El resto del personal, muy amable ..

Relaxed, I will be back!!
Pros:

The breakfast, lunch and dinner were always fantastic. A lot of variety for people who like different things. The variety at breakfast was great. Eggs any way you would like them, fresh cracked. Omelette had so many options to add to it. Callaloo was very good (first time trying it) great to add to your eggs. There was french toast, pancakes, & toast as well as baked beans and sausage. For dinner's, the meat was A++ fall off the bone beef ribs, jerk chicken, jerk pork, beef stew to name a few as well as fish. There was always a fresh salad or coleslaw, fresh steamed vegetables, the mashed potatoes were top notch. Some days there were cheeseburgers and fries, and the desserts were great, some days we had ice cream and there was different cheesecakes and red velvet cake to name a few. The bar had many different variety of drinks. Always great service between the servers, the chefs and wait staff. The beach was right at your tip toes. Easy access, beautiful clean sand, and the water was warm and refreshing salt water. The security was always around, making sure the beach hustlers kept it moving if you weren't interested. Everyone at Merrill's always greeted you, they would always have a smile on their face and be happy to see you. I felt like I was treated like family, maybe even better then. I wanted to give a shout out to Johnoi, Arvon, Marlin, Barbara, Charlie, Bunny, Diego (fist bump), Glen, Krystal, Myree (thank you for always getting us our chairs on the beach) Yvon, Shamoy, Germane. (spelling of names, sorry =/) We had an over all fantastic trip and I look forward to coming back in the near future.

Cons:

Nothing towards the resort itself. Just have to be mindful of the hustlers on the beach, sometimes they over extend their stay if security does not see them. Otherwise around great resort. I miss the people and the atmosphere.

Immer wieder gern.
Pros:

Wir waren schon öfters hier, super Lage und es gefällt uns immer wieder sehr gut. Man darf keinen Luxus erwarten, aber sauber und für unseren Geschmack völlig ok. Das Buffet ist überschaubar, aber man findet immer etwas.

Cons:

Wer es sehr ruhig mag, sollte am anderen Abschnittes des Beaches buchen, da die Musik aus umliegenden Bars oder Hotels doch oft gut zu hören ist.
