Beautiful grounds, breakfast was lovely and the security welcomed us and showed us to our room during our late arrival. Gym facilities were also superb.

Cons:

The bathroom sink in the room was poorly fitted. Turning the tap on would flood the floors as there were loose pipes. The bedroom drapes were also stained with a white substance which was quite off putting

Disappointing
Pros:

Location is beautiful.

Cons:

Breakfast is usually very good. We arrived just before 9am to be told that they finished at 9am & we were presented with dried up hard bacon & sausage & no fried eggs. I accept that we were last minute but we weren't late. It didn't help that the member of staff who spoke to us was clearly not pleased that we had arrived at all!
Our room was internal, no outside window & did not smell fresh! Shower was cold. Bedside lamp not working. Not good.

A great place to stay as a base to visit Shropshire and good value for money.
Pros:

The reception and bar staff were very friendly and helpful which made the whole stay much more relaxed and enjoyable.
The room was very clean and tidy, with a lovely view over the Bowling Green.

Cons:

We were served breakfast on cold plates, which meant the food went cold pretty quickly and was a shame as the quality was good otherwise.
