Nice enough room and good breakfast. Didn’t feel brilliantly clean. But okay for a budget stopover.
Pros:

Convenient for where we wanted to be. Lots of parking. Liked all the Olympic legacy stuff on the walls.

Highly Recommended
Pros:

Clean, convenient and good value. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Fabulous location, right on the river. Plentiful free parking. Gym access if you're so inclined! Good breakfast included and on-site cafe.

Cons:

The room is very "barrack" like. It's perfectly adequate but manage your expectations.
Room amenities change every time I visit. This time there we're only herbal teabags and no biscuits! A very minor thing, but consistency would be handy.

Bargain bolthole just outside Marlow
Pros:

Excellent value for money accommodation (think Premier Inn standard) in an unlikely setting. £66 for a room with 2 x full breakfasts is a steal!
Was surprised how pleasant it was, and the grounds were spotless. Plus there’s a large free car park on site, unlike most other overpriced hotels in central Marlow (which is about 10-15 min walk away).
Large comfortable room, with TV, tea/coffee making station. Great big bed, nice linens, plenty of pillows. Large bathroom and excellent shower pressure.
The “Engine Room Restaurant” is a bit like a school canteen in appearance but the breakfast buffet choices were excellent, with well cooked hot food. Good coffee machine.

Cons:

Check-in (after 3pm) and check-out (before 9.30 weekdays) times are a bit draconian IMHO. An hour leeway each side would be better, but that did not detract from our enjoyment of the place. Would definitely stay here again next time in Marlow.

Very basic and uncomfortable stay

Location was nice and room was a good size

Cons:

Rooms were roasting and there was no air con or even a fan in the room. Bathroom smelled of drain. Lift was out of order. Place is a bit of a maze. Cheap horrible coffee in room. No tv remote so no tv available. Took ages to find any hint to the WiFi password

Pros:

Good for a work conference at the Abbey the following day. Good breakfast.

Cons:

There was no WiFi password in my room which I only noticed after I’d got my PJ’s on. Limited evening meal options.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bisham Abbey.
Pros:

The location was excellent for our purposes. The room was a generous size with a lovely private shower room. Parking was free and very convenient. Breakfast was really good. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
