Pros:

Nette en schone kamer, vriendelijk personeel en heerlijk ontbijt. Goede locatie om de kastelen te bezoeken. Mooie omgeving waar nog veel meer is te doen, we komen zeker een keer terug.

Pros:

Location to hiking trails and within walking distance of the castles. Accommodations were very comfortable and clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall experience was excellent.

Hôtel familial et confortable pour découvrir l’Allgäu
Pros:

Super petit hôtel familial : très bien tenu, cosy et le personnel est aux petits soins de ses clients! Très proche des chateaux de Hohenschwangau et Neuschwanstein : possible de prendre le bus depuis un arrêt à proximité de l’hôtel pour ne pas payer le parking du site (prohibitif). Une super adresse également pour profiter du coin (vélo, randonnée et baignade dans les nombreux lacs).

Cons:

Rien à redire : l’hôtel est mignon, très propre et le petit déjeuner est super!

Another great stay in a very welcoming hotel
Pros:

This is the second time we have stayed at Hotel Waldmann and it is a lovely hotel. Breakfast was plentiful and fresh. Good choice for dinner and well prepared. The location for Neuswanstein and Hohenswangau castles is great, there is a 5 min bus ride which we took going up but coming back we walked (only 1.5kms on the flat) as the queues for the bus were quite big.

Pros:

Superlage zu den Schlössern, umliegenden Seen und zum Tegelberg (fußläufige Entfernungen). Ein schöner Garten mit Möglichkeiten sich dort aufzuhalten. Frühstück war ausreichend, Ei oder bestimmte Getränke wurden auf Wunsch zusätzlich gebracht. Genügend Parkplätze (Autoanreise sinnvoll). Nettes, eingespieltes Personal.

Cons:

Die Lage direkt an der Parkstraße (Zufahrt zu den Schlössern und Hotels in Hohenschwangau) bringt es mit sich, dass fast durchgehend Autos, Motorräder und Busse durchfahren. Zumindest während meines Aufenthaltes (2 Nächte an Pfingsten) ebbte das nur geringfügig ab zwischen 23 und 5 Uhr früh. Darüberhinaus hört man bei geöffnetem Fenster auch die Straße 17 (Füssen - Schwangau).

Dafür kann das Hotel Waldmann natürlich nicht. Muss man nur wissen. Wem Ruhe zum Schlafen wichtig ist, dem sei abgeraten.

Great hotel!
Pros:

We loved it here! Friendly staff and great breakfast, walking distance to the castles, the town centre, and other good walking routes. Was also handy having a fridge in the room for our picnic food, and also the restaurant was perfect for after a long day walking.
