Decepcionante reducción de servicios

El tamaño de habitación

Me hospedé en este mismo hotel hace aproximadamente un mes y mi experiencia fue muy diferente. En esa ocasión, todos los días reponían la botella de agua y las bolsitas de café de la habitación. Sin embargo, en esta estancia solo dejaron estos artículos el primer día.

Al regresar al hotel por la noche pregunté en recepción por qué no habían repuesto el agua ni el café, y me informaron que desde julio cambiaron la política y que ahora esos amenidades solo se proporcionan el primer día de la estancia.

Lo que resulta difícil de entender es que el precio de la habitación sigue siendo el mismo. No se trata de una tarifa más económica que justifique una reducción en los servicios. Me parece sorprendente que un hotel de esta categoría decida ahorrar en algo tan básico como una pequeña botella de agua y una bolsita de café, especialmente cuando esta última es del tamaño específico para la cafetera de la habitación.

Son detalles que pueden parecer pequeños, pero marcan una gran diferencia en la experiencia del huésped. En un hotel como Wyndham se espera un nivel de servicio acorde con su categoría, y ofrecer agua y café diariamente debería ser parte de las amenidades básicas. Lamentablemente, este cambio da la impresión de que el hotel está reduciendo costos a expensas de la experiencia de sus huéspedes.

Muy bueno todo, menos la logística del desayuno

Great hotel for flying in and out
Pros:

Super location. Free shuttle service. Newly remodeled. Good bar and restaurant.

Cons:

The room 1153 was very hot and although I kept trying to put the air at 18C, it never went below 22C, the temperature that was set when we came in.
It was way too warm to sleep!
