👎👎 Disgusting hotel
Pros:

I definitely cannot recommend this shady hotel, despite its otherwise pleasant location in the charming town of Tongeren.

It feels as though a couple of friends decided to start a bed & breakfast without any real experience.

To begin with, we had to wait around 10 minutes to check in, even though one of the staff members had clearly seen us. Instead of helping, he casually leaned over the bar just 10 metres away, eating an ice cream.

When we were finally checked in (even though we were the only guests arriving at that time) we were immediately hit by a strong, unpleasant musty smell in the hallway, as if the building hadn’t been properly aired out for decades. Unfortunately, the same smell filled our room as well, and it remained even after we tried opening the windows.

The room was very dirty, and the stale odour had seeped into the bed linen and furniture. The bathroom was particularly disgusting: there were pubic hairs in the corners, and the toilet brush was covered in human waste. It was honestly revolting.

When we reported these issues to the reception staff (who barely speak English), we were simply told that there wasn’t much they could do.

This is a place I will never return to, and I certainly cannot recommend it to anyone else.

Tevreden over het verblijf, blij met de airco en het lekkere uitgebreid ontbijt.
Pros:

we zijn er aangekomen tijdens een hittegolf. In de kamer was het mooi fris bij aankomst door de AC die werkte.

wenn ich wieder nach Tongeren komme, werde ich wieder dieses Hotel besuchen
Pros:

Zimmer sehr sauber und Bett sehr bequem
Frühstück grosse Auswahl uns frische Vollkornbrötchen, hat mir gut geschmeckt
Da ich extra in Tongeren war um den Antiekmarkt zu besuchen war die Lage des Hotels optimal

Cons:

Es hat mich etwas gestört dass das Personal meistens kein französisch gesprochen habe, ich kann als Luxemburger der flämischen Sprache nicht, und mein Englisch ist lückenhaft, mit viel Geduld und Freundlichkeit haben wir diese Hürde aber gut überwunden

Sehr gute Lage insbesondere wenn es um den Antik Flohmarkt geht.
Personaler sehr freundlich. Sehr nett aus die Damen vom Frühstück Service & leckere Essen!
Alles Sauber. Q Parkaus in der -2 Etage auch gut & preislich ok. Auch wenn die Einfahrt eng ist.
