Pros:

Het is een authentiek kasteel met alles wat daarbij hoort. Grote kamers, lange gangen en alles in de Middeleeuwse stijl die je verwacht. Parkeergelegenheid is voldoende aanwezig. Wandelmogelijkheden in de omgeving zijn ruim. Het restaurant aan lange tafels past goed in de sfeer, evenals de lounge met de grote open haard.

Cons:

Helaas is het behoorlijk gehorig op de kamer. Geluiden van de buren klinken alsof ze in de eigen kamer worden geproduceerd en de deuren van de gangen echoën bij sluiting flink door.

Würde ich wieder machen, nur mit Aufpreis fürs Doppelzimmer

Umgebung und Frühstück waren Top. Auch die Burg an sich. Klasse Erlebnis

Das Einzelzimmer war gerade im Vergleich zu den Doppelzimmern nicht in Ordnung. Gerade das Bett hat furchtbar geknarzt

Ein gutes Beispiel für ein interessantes Objekt mit Null Service.
Cons:

Lt. website sind Hunde willkommen. Das ist schlichtweg falsch. Der Hund darf zwar auf das Zimmer - aber sonst nirgendwo hin. Dabei muss man auf dem Weg zum Zimmer durch 1 Aufenthaltsraum und 2 Speiseräume gehen - auch mit aufgebautem Buffet - aber der Hund darf in keinem dieser Räume bleiben. Das wird so erst beim Check-in kommuniziert.
Null Service!
Das Restaurant ist nur zeitweise geöffnet - in einer relativ einsamen Gegend. Das wird in der Website und im Hausprospekt nicht kommuniziert. Das empfohlene Ausweichsrestaurant hatte Betriebsferien.
Auf das Frühstück habe ich verzichtet - um den Hund bei Regen und Gewitter nicht alleine lassen zu müssen,

Einen Gepäck-service gibt es nicht - trotz stolperiger und teils rutschiger Zuwegung über mehrere hundert Meter.

Pros:

Das Restaurant & Frühstücken waren toll! Das Zimmer war einfach eingerichtet aber es sehr sauber und alles wichtige war vorhanden.

Auch die Tropfsteinhöhle und die Falknerei direkt nebenan sind nur zu empfehlen!

A real castle experience
Pros:

A little remote but that was the appeal of this castle hotel. Reception staff were so accomodating and went that extra effort to assist us so we could enjoy our stay.
The genuine German breakfast buffet was so lovely.

Cons:

There was plenty of parking but a little distance away from the Burg. There was no television but that firced you to relax.

I enjoyed the castle and its surroundings, it was like living a fable, but especially because “Gabriel Knight 2 : The Beast Within” (Sierra, 1995) was filmed there, transforming the venue into “Schloß Ritter”, headquarters of the Shattenjägers.

Cons:

Only one thing: one of the girls serving dinner was superrude with an annoying smirk on her face.

Pros:

Hrad je v nádherné krajině, už příjezd k němu je úžasný. Proces ubytování zcela bez komplikací, paní na recepci byla velmi milá a vše potřebné nám vysvětlila a ukázala. Historický pokoj čistý, útulný, stylově zařízený, postele pohodlné, koupelna moderní. Úžasné je možnost posezení na venkovní terase a nebo v hradní společenské místnosti, velká romantika.

Cons:

Nedostatky jsme nenašli. Snad jen upozornění pro hůře pohyblivé klienty, do pokoje jsme chodili po schodech, ale možná jsou v nabídce i bezbariérové pokoje.
