Good but not valuable for the money!

The location was excellent, the room was spacious.

Cons:

The room was not properly cleaned and it was extremely hot due to the heatwave. There was a fan but the window was so small and it was not possible to open it properly.

EXTREMELY HOT IN THE SUMMER

Cons:

It was EXTREMELY HOT inside the room. They put us in the mansard where all of the hot air accumulates (and it was 38 degrees outside) with windows that open 5cm. We almost died from the heat - we legit stayed outside in restaurants with AC up until 10pm because we didn’t want to go inside the room. We stayed for 2 days and slept no more than 3hrs/night. It got very humid when we bathed, even though we did with cold water. Honestly a 1/10 stay, if it wasn’t for the good location. I would NOT book this in the period April-September. Having rooms in the mansarde at 38 degrees with no AC is diabolical.

Nichts für heisse Sommertage
Pros:

Nahe gelegen am Kongresszentrum. Self Checkin selbsterklärend, gut funktionierend. Funktionierende Dusche und Fernseher.

Cons:

Ein kleines Zimmer im dritten Stock ohne Aufzug in einem passabel renovierten Altbau. Im Zimmer ein kleines Fenster. Bei warmen Wetter sehr heiss, kein Durchzug. Bei offenen Fenster nachts laute Strassen/Party-Geräusche. Das Fenster zuschliessen: keine Option. Ein kleines Kunststoffbad. Kein Personal, kein automatischer Wechsel der Handtücher, keine Müllentsorgung.

Gute Lage. Unkomplizierter Check-in.

Cons:

Sehr heiss unter dem Dach ohne Klimaanlage im Sommer. Der Ventilator hat leider nur wenig geholfen.

Było ok ale na następny pobyt wybiorę na pewno inny hotel.
Pros:

Lokalizacja genialna dla moich potrzeb (Art Basel). Bardzo pomocna obsługa z hotelu-matki czyli Alexander Hotel. Bardzo sprawna komunikacja. Duży plus.

Cons:

Pokój był bardzo nagrzany. Wentylator absolutnie nie wystarczał. Bardzo głośno od ulicy nawet przy zamkniętym niewielkim oknie. Wentylacja w łazience nie działała. Po uruchomieniu wiatraka wyfrunęły wszystkie śmieci z różnych nieposprzątanych kątów. Brak jakiś półek czy jakiegoś stołka by odstawić cokolwiek (jedna malutka szafeczka na lampkę nocną niewystarczająca) nie mówiąc o torbie czy walizce. Nie miałam możliwości zamówienia np. jednego śniadania przy zabukowanym noclegu na trzy doby. Wiem, że to Szwajcaria, ale za 140 euro za noc bez śniadania oczekiwałam, że przynajmniej będzie czyściej i chłodniej.

Lage optimal zum Congress Center

Cons:

Für die Hitze kann niemand etwas dafür. Der Ventilator konnte aber nur marginal helfen. Ein Getränke Automat im Empfang wäre eine Idee.

War in Basel zu einem Kongress. Dafür lag das Hotel sehr günstig. 2.duchgeschwitzte Nächte.

Der Preis.

Cons:

Hatte ein Zimmer unterm Dach zu dieser Zeit gab es gerade sehr hohe Temperaturen Aussentemperaturen knapp unter 40°.
Das.Zimme4 hatte nur ein kleines Fenster. Es war kaum möglich ausreichend zu lüften um das Zimmer runterzukühlen. Vorschlag: Wenn Mal Geld übrig ist einen Deckenventilator installieren. Ansonsten ist dieses Zimmer bei hohen Außentemperaturen eigentlich nicht zumutbar.

Wenn es herbst wäre dann ist es genau das, wofür man bezahlt.

Cons:

Ich hatte Zimmer zur Sonnenseite raus im 3. Stock ohne Klimaanlage, im Zimmer war es auch um 2300 uhr noch mind 38° warm und trotz ventilator war es kaum auszuhalten. Ich hatte vorher nicht geschaut ob klimatisiert daher trifft mich eine teilschuld. Auch nicht damit gerechnet, dass es der heisseste juni in der geschichte von basel wird.

Kleine kamer en toilet/douche
Beter dubbel bed eruit en er een single room van maken.
Erg heet in de kamer kan de badkamer ook wat ruimer gemaakt worden.
