Rooms ands beds were great!
Construction
It is very close to my child’s school
Bathroom was entirely too small with a very low toilet. Hard to get into and to close the door. The sink area was open to the room which provided no privacy.
There was no breakfast
Bathroom way too small. No dresser. No iron and ironing board

There was no breakfast available as stated on the website due to renovations. Coupons were offered. The staff was very friendly and professional. Room and common areas clean and tidy. Nice location.

The room was nice. The bed was comfortable.
They were under construction there was no pool or no breakfast and we did not know that until we got there and we had our grandkids
The hotel is actually a motel (misleading description by Booking.com) a bit out of town, our car in front of the room. Our room was on the ground floor, with big windows so we needed the curtains down when in the room. Since these were light blocking, we sat in the dark for 3 days. Beds comfortable, bathroom updated and clean. Banner Elk is still recovering from the storm Helene, and the upper rooms in the Lodge were being renovated, which might explain the somewhat lower rate. We liked that friendly staff was at the reception 24 h - but not interested in fixing small things (lotion bottle completely broken, no coffee pods at the reception).

The construction, but obviously it’s necessary. I do wish the rooms and a small microwave.
