Pros:

Studio huone riitti hyvin 2:lle aikuiselle.
Kaikki tarpeellinen sisältyi siihen.
Plussana oli ihana sauna joka ilta, miehille ja naisille omat tilat.
Aamiainen oli ihan parasta.
Ei missään Suomessa ole ollut vastaavaa.

Hinta-laatusuhteessa parantamisen varaa
Pros:

Aamiainen oli todella hyvä ja monipuolinen. Palvelu asiallista ja ystävällistä.

Cons:

Hostellin puolella huoneen lämpötila oli kesäkuun puolivälissä 15 ’C. Lämpeni hitaasti patteria säätämällä, lisäpeitto löytyi yhdelle. Paikat kaipaisivat jo remonttia, pienellä ehostuksella viihtyisyys lisääntyisi. Mainoskuvat olivat yliampuvia, rapistunut todellisuus yllätti epämieluisasti. Huoneessa ilma oli onneksi paljon parempi kuin käytävällä.

Henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja ammattitaitoista!
Erittäin korkeatasoinen A’la Carte ravintola ja hyvä aamupala.

Cons:

Paikka kunnoltaan suorastaan karmea. Kaikki peruskunnostustyöt jätetty tekemättä vuosikymmenten ajan. Oikea häpeätahra muuten niin korkeatasoisessa Lapland Hotels ketjussa. Jos tämä olisi ensimäinen ketjun hotelli johon menen, jättäisin varmasti menemättä muihin.
Huoneet keskitasoa heikomman retkeilumajan tasoa.
Se, että paikka on museoviraston suojeluksessa, ei tarkoita sitä, etteikö paikasta voisi huolehtia. 150,- /yö on järkyttävän huonossa suhteessa laatuun nähden! Ei jatkoon….

Aamiainen oli runsas ja hyvä! Ehdoton plussa oli myös se, että aamiaisaikaa oli venytetty klo 12.00 saakka lomaviikonloppumme ajan.

Itse rakennus tarvitsisi jo peruskorjausta.
