Ideally situated for easy access to Liverpool.
Pros:

The hotel was situated on the outskirts of Liverpool city centre, ideal for my visit to Liverpool.
The hotel has its own restaurant and bar. The food looked and smelled delicious; I didn't taste it though. I would highly recommend the Orrell Park hotel to anyone needing a comfortable, well-placed and reasonably priced place to stay in the Liverpool area.

Cons:

I would have preferred a room with a bath rather than just a shower.

Pros:

Location was great, rooms were clean

Cons:

The mattress’ could do with replacing, shower head needs fixing it’s being held up with an elastic band. Breakfast could be better quality

Exactly what we hoped it would be.
Pros:

Location…. and it has a community vibe. People can gather in the evening outside for happy hour (s)
And also in the morning for breakfast. Very friendly staff and Vin is very personable and kind. There were fellow hotel guests and it is also a very popular locals spot.
The restaurant serves up amazing food!

Cons:

Liked it all! No complaints at all.

Would definitely stay again, great location to the local station and easily got into Liverpool centre.

I would stay here again and pray that the weather was cooler.
Pros:

Perfect location and very friendly staff! Restaurant on site had great food along with a free breakfast in the morning.

Cons:

Unfortunately we happen to be visiting during a heat wave and the room was extremely warm. There was a small fan in the room but it really wasn’t big enough to provide much relief.

Orrell Park Hotel en route to Plymouth annual events.
Pros:

I've been here a few times now, and it's always a pleasant stay, albeit I would prefer it to be closer to the city although it may lose some of its charm so leave it where it is.

Cons:

There's really no dislikes of this property as I have said I've been here a few times now and no doubt will be there next year.

Ideal for getting to centre in metro, parking free, warm, friendly atmosphere.
Pros:

The owner, Vin, was very friendly and helpful. We were able to check in early. He even opened the bar earlier than usual so we could have a drink. He explained re metro to get into central Liverpool and chatted about best time to visit the Cavern etc. Room clean and nice spacious bathroom, thick towels, comfortable bed. Free parking. Bar is beautifully decorated, nice lighting, Beatle themed. Tapas restaurant excellent and staff very efficient and friendly. Vin’s nephew was behind the bar - really helpful when we brought a disabled friend in for dinner. Eva at breakfast was very good - last morning we’d not realised breakfast was earlier weekdays and chef had left so she did some toast and scrambled egg for us - tea, juice etc.

Cons:

Nothing. Liked everything and everybody! 😊

Room was filthy, hair all over the shower on ever surface, curtains hanging off rail, disgustingly dirty curtains, brown liquids up toilet door, rotting above toilet window frame and cigarette burns arouns all window sills!
