Location
The carpets are old and dirty
The bathroom toilets is oldschool. Can hardly flush a
The smell is repugnant once you enter accomodation
Location was good with easy access to get food and shops. The room had seating to watch TV and to relax. Bed was comfortable and bathroom functional.
Nothing really..
From Michael who checked me in, Paige who was in the bistro & Tori (I think?) who helped with getting some coffee & a mug for the room you couldn't fault them. Bright, bubbly, humorous & just great people. Got a couple of chits for a free pint at one of the bars & 20% off my meal so welcome to The Tassie indeed!
Location is brilliant, sitting on the balcony just chilling was a welcome respite.
Not so much didn't like, more a heads up. The hotel is a throwback to how it was, yes the carpet is bit tired, yes the bed may be too soft (for some), yes you can hear the road traffic but man what a trip! Took me back decades to how we used to get around & how you were treated. I'll defo be back.
Nice girl on reception and discount on food and free drink
Power points are too low to the ground or desk for various wall charges that plug in, but have a body that points downward. Such as a laptop charger.
I had to unplug air-conditioning to charge then swap back. Nothing to be too upset about though.
All good
Nothing
Really friendly service and helped me as much as possible. Staff were able to let me leave my motorbike inside instead of keeping it in the open carpark.
Great room with amazing water view and balcony , the meals are huge and taste really good , free beer and 20% off good voucher for staying , good atmosphere and the customer service was excellent
Comfy bed. Was worried it might be noisy as the gaming room is open until 2/3am but used earplugs and slept great. Basic accommodation but good enough for the price.
On last night went to use free drink voucher in bar Tori, behind the bar was great!
Bathroom was tiny and shower curtain smelled sweaty, when wet. Good news though that when I told staff they replaced it same day, even though it was Easter public holiday.
Friendly staff
