Quaint romantic countryside boutique hotel stay.
Pros:

Quaint friendly accommodating boutique property with beautiful outdoors and a peaceful brook. Lovely restaurant with delicious food. Nespresso and tea kettle in the room.

Cons:

A little expensive: I expected a bit more luxury for the price. No AC in a heat wave but then again most of Europe lacks AC. No tissues (only toilet paper) in the room.

Fijn.
Pros:

Lovely hotel for a weekend away in the Cotswolds
Pros:

Lovely rural location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great buffet and cooked breakfast.

Cons:

Very hot day and the fan provided was totally ineffective. Luckily we brought our own fan which made the stay reasonably comfortable

Lovely short break in a quiet location
Pros:

Delightful property, spotlessly clean and very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was comfortable and just a little bit different.
The food was also good with a scrumptious breakfast!

Cons:

To us, this was meant to be a 'luxury' stay and it was anything but. We were not made to feel welcome from start
Pros:

Beautiful decor, views and feel to the hotel and the breakfast

Cons:

Most things. No fridge in room was really inconvenient.

Pros:

We recently returned from the most wonderful stay at Honey and Thyme, and it exceeded every expectation from beginning to end.
The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful — stylish, peaceful, and full of thoughtful touches that make it feel both luxurious and genuinely welcoming. Our room was exceptional: beautifully designed, impeccably comfortable, and clearly cared for with great attention to detail.
What truly made the experience unforgettable, however, was the people. Every single member of staff was outstanding — warm, attentive, professional, and effortlessly kind. From the reception team to the waitresses, bartenders, and restaurant staff, everyone made us feel sincerely looked after throughout our stay. Service of this standard is rare, and it never once felt forced — just genuine hospitality at its very best.
The food was equally deserving of praise. Breakfast was superb, and dinner was truely magical next to the stream — beautifully prepared, thoughtfully presented, and absolutely delicious.
The outdoor spaces were another standout feature: peaceful, beautifully maintained, and the perfect setting to truly unwind and enjoy the surroundings.
Honey and Thyme is the kind of place that stays with you long after you leave. A truly special hotel run by exceptional people, and somewhere we will very gladly return to.

Lovely stay, would come back!
Pros:

Rooms were lovely, food great and staff amazing, friendly and attentive.

Cons:

halfway through the night the shower started dripping a lot (the heavy rain seemed to make this worse) and we couldn’t block the noise out because the door didn’t close. this impacted sleep, but other than this it was perfect.
