My key card was picky about what door it wanted to let me into

It was a bit further than I expected from the tourist sites.

Valet parking is $50! It is on the end of river street, so it is a good walk to go eat or tour the area.

Walking into the room; it didn't smell pleasant.
Also, the shower needed more attention in cleaning other than that very nice hotel.

You need more info around options for parking clearly noted on your site. We got there, late driving. I was trying to figure out parking my car. You can valet park for $50 a night, but keep keys overnight. I asked front desk if I can keep my key. She told me I had the option park across the street. Mind you with kids I thought she was rude, unhelpful and off handed. After going back and forth on this when I asked if I could sort this out with the valet folks at that point she indicated this has nothing to do with the hotel. What a waste of time. The valet folks I would give 10 out of 10, they’re amazing. There is 3 of us so the plan was to also use the sleeping couch. However I had to call to get bedding, again I think same person says she says she’ll try to see if someone can help they might be done for the night. We did have someone sent up, very sweet, 10 out of 10. At some point I asked if we could order food to our roomwas told I had to go to the roof top and do a takeout. We went up. One person was there doing the bartending and also ordering the food. I understand that there is only one person. But she barely acknowledged us, and while we stood there proceeded to take 2 phone calls to take orders. Each time she walked away . We finally managed to order, she asked for my card, I gave it to her. She placed it on the machine, and never returned the card. So much going on we’re trying to catch the late night ghost tour. I forgot to get my card back from her. The food took so long we had to ask several times. If the front desk had given me the option to call and I order I would have done that as I saw other people do. The next morning, I check out and just as I was about to leave. I’m told they have my card. I asked if the card had been returned the night before. I found it strange to point out at 11a next something like a missing CC. I was told the bartender brought it up the night before. I called the bank explained the situation and canceled my card.

Unfortunately we stayed 3 nights and noone came to clean the room. I had expected from photograph a room which faced directly onto river?

Everything was perfect. The only reason I gave it a 9 out of 10 is just if it was centrally located. Other than that it was perfect. Everything else was perfect like I rated you

They placed us in a different type of room than we reserved/paid for, but didn’t tell us they were doing it. They didn’t initially offer a refund in the rate difference, after they were asked they did refund a portion of the price. The roof top had inconsistent quality of drinks, and the food at the bar wasn’t good. There evidently was also a “Happy Hour” with free beer and wine that no one ever told us about. Also parking was kind of pricey.

There were ants in my room. I didn't report the right away because the gentleman at the front desk said there no more rooms available at the point of check-in. When I reported it upon check out, the first thing the young lady said did you report the night before. I told her no. She should have said I apologize for the inconvenience. I also did not want the smell of raid in my room. She gave me a 30.00 discount which I felt wasn't enough but I didn't push the issue. My room was facing the street and I booked a room facing the water online. I was told that I made a mistake but I went and doubled check what I previously booked and room was facing the water.
