Pros:

Beautiful location across from the beach and in centre of town. Directly on the Camino. Lovely staff - friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Bed was hard. After walking all day I found it really uncomfortable.

Pros:

Awesome location, right on the beach. We had a family room & had a large balcony overlooking the beach, which was wonderful. The 2 bedroom set up was a little weird for 2 couples, but would be perfect for a family with kids, it was only for one night while doing the Camino so really not too much of an issue.

Na descrição do Booking, constava explicitamente que o quarto teria uma cama individual e uma "cama de casal grande (151-180 cm)". Quando nos fomos deitar, deparámo-nos com uma cama de apenas 133 cm de largura por 183 cm de comprimento. Uma cama destas dimensões não pode, de forma alguma, ser considerada uma cama de casal grande para dois adultos.
De manhã, expusemos a situação na receção e a colaboradora desvalorizou completamente a nossa queixa, alegando ignorar o tamanho das camas que o próprio alojamento dispõe.
Se viaja em casal ou em família, tenha muita atenção às dimensões reais das camas, pois não correspondem ao que o alojamento publicita no Booking. Uma boa localização e limpeza não compensam uma noite inteira sem conseguir dormir. Não recomendo.

Albergaria Quim Barreiros was exactly what we needed during our Camino. The room was spotless, modern, and incredibly comfortable, providing the perfect place to rest and recharge after a long day of walking. The bed was excellent, the facilities were well maintained, and everything felt fresh and welcoming.

The location was ideal, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and the Camino route itself. We especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere and the attention to detail that made our stay so relaxing.

What truly stood out was the warm hospitality and professionalism of the staff. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and ensured that everything was taken care of. It’s clear they take pride in providing an exceptional experience.

If you are walking the Camino or visiting Vila Praia de Âncora, I highly recommend Albergaria Quim Barreiros. It offers outstanding value, excellent comfort, and the kind of quality that makes you wish you had booked more than one night.
