Wonderful experience
Pros:

The staff was very helpful. The hotel was comfortable and very quiet. The breakfast buffet had lots of tasty choices. The location was very central. We walked everywhere including from the train station.

Quiet and comfortable in the town centre
Pros:

Great location, a bus ride from the station and easy walking distance to the market, garden and castle, samurai and geisha districts.
Loved the tea selection in the lobby which was a good place to sit and watch the world go by after a day’s walking. Quiet and comfortable room.
