SUPPER Hotel

The 4 person “le noir” room is very small for a space that is meant to be for 4 people. There is limited space to put your clothes and no where to store luggage. Would not recommend if you are planning on bringing big bags. It can also be quite loud from the surrounding bars which play music all night and through into the morning. There is also no real bathroom which is quite annoying when staying with friends and not in a couple as I assume most 4 people groups would be. It could also benefit from a full length mirror in the room as there is only one real mirror and the lighting is awful. They did not do room services either.

When we tried to check out there was no one there

De kamer was niet hygiënisch, de gang stonk naar riool, rommel onder het bed, de douche was lauw/koud, de airco rook naar schimmel en de wc rook naar plas….

No elevator but not really a big issue

Zaten bovenin was warm airco stonk enorm en gaf geen koude licht dat was afzien.

It's Amsterdam so a small room is to be expected, but the lack of any dedicated space to keep luggage was definitely noticable and made the space feel very cramped and difficult to keep tidy

Nothing except maybe the black dark walls but it is part of the theme. I am noise tolerant so a little background noise from the club didn’t bother me at all

- 4 floors of stairs and no lift! What a great way to start your holiday!
- the bed is a thin matress on top of two single dirty beds. In the middle of the night the beds opened up and I was sleeping in a hole!
- the bed is in the corner so a second person has to jump over the other to get out. (If you can fit another person on that “double” bed)
- the shower water was either cold or hot. You could not make it in between.
- the shower is an open space with the toilet. That means that EVERYTHING gets wet and full of soap so you cant use the toilet after a shower. Especially if you go dressed.
- the toilet “doors” are two semi-frosted pieces of glass with massive gaps on top and btm. Do you really think friends or partners want to smell and hear whatever happens in the toilet? Not sexy at all.
- in general looks clean but its not
- The tv has a weird system that you need to use your phone to use it. Most of the times doesnt work so I had to turn off the tv, unplug the cables etc. And the tv sharing screen function didnt work. Just get a smart tv!
- main reception closes at 11pm. After that you use a side door. If you have an issue with your card you can ask help from the bar next door. Bar closes at 4am. That means if you come back to the hotel after 4am and you have an issue with your card then guess what! You sleep on the street!
- the side door was not always closing properly. I found it open at 3am. And based on the location I wouldnt be surprised if I found visitors inside waiting or sleeping.
