Easy access, comfortable, great breakfast and even a Happy Hour
Pros:

Great location just off the beltline with easy access to Madison downtown. The hotel is on a bikepath which makes taking a walk or bike ride easy. We were surprised to find that the manager hosts a wine/beer/munchie reception 5-7pm on Monday to Wednesday. The rooms were comfy and the TVs were easy to use (not streaming). We were there on a weather Alert day so being able to watch local weather forecasters was important. Also, the hotel texted us information when the weather sirens went off all over the region during the day. This is very comforting for out of town travelers. Thanks.

Fantastic!! Highly recommended
Pros:

The staff is extremely warm & helpful be it the reception or the room service or the shuttle drivers. Room size is nice. Very clean. The shuttle service is a great idea. Beds & pillows are comfortable. Nice walks all around.

Cons:

1. Breakfast like all American hotels is just bread & bread products with scrambled eggs & cereals. Which gets monotonous. There can be maybe some changes in egg choices or sandwiches etc
2. In the bathrooms there are no cups or glasses to put your brushes of paste
3. Ice depensers on floors don’t have water dispensers so you have to go down but that is cool since it is not too many floors

Great Stays, helpful staff
Pros:

I regularly stay at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites, Madison Central, on business. Alex always greets me with a smile and meets all of my needs. The other employees are also great, rooms clean and breakfast provides variety and a tasty start to the day.

A Pleasant One-Night Stay
Pros:

My wife and I had a lovely one-night stay and were delighted that the hotel was nicer than expected. We liked the clean and spacious room, the friendly staff, the ample parking and the nearby Starbucks.

Above and beyond across the board
Pros:

The staff at this hotel goes above and beyond across the board, my flight was delayed during an incredibly busy conference, the manager Ashley came and picked me up from the airport herself! The front desk staff was helpful and pleasant going out of their way to make dinner recommendations or helping to arrange rides and late checkout. The shuttle drivers Joe and his counterpart in the evening were friendly, accommodating, inspired confidence in their service and were always happy to pick us up from dinner despite constantly running around Madison. Last but not least this hotel is clean. While waiting to leave the lobby was being cleaned and they moved every last luggage cart to clean underneath. They clearly take pride in this facility and providing great service!
