Important information:

From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.

Car Park Notice: Kindly be informed that effective 7th Apr 2023, Level 3A & 3B parking bays are reserved exclusively for hotel guests. All guests checking into the hotel MUST REGISTER at the reception counter at the lobby before entering these floors in order to enjoy the RM 10 per stay. Alternatively, hotel guests may park at Level 7 & 8 which are complimentary. Level 4 to 6 parking lots are fully managed by The Shore Shopping Gallery and chargeable on hourly and daily basis.

Breakfast : Buffet breakfast will be charge as following (Unless is selected room & breakfast option). Mon to Sun & Public Holiday: MYR 30+ per adult and MYR 25+ per child (aged 5 to 12 years old)

Het was zeker niet schoon en heel gehorig. Deels opgeknapt, maar grote delen ook niet. Prima locatie om 1 of 2 nachten Melakka te bezoeken, maar zou het niet aanbevelen.

ENTRETIEN GÉNÉRAL DÉPLORABLE!!!!!
Pros:

-Un bon petit déjeuner.
-Présence de casier à l'étage des piscines.
-Bon emplacement pour visiter et bon emplacement car centre commercial situé en dessous de l'hôtel avec accès directe.
- Lit bébé est un lit parapluie ( ce qui n'est pas systématiquement le cas ailleurs )

ENTRETIEN GÉNÉRAL DÉPLORABLE!!!!!
Si seulement l'hôtel était entretenu il serait incroyable malheureusement ce n'est pas le cas.
-Entretien de la chambre catastrophique, joints cilycone de la salle de bain moisi ou enlevé mais non refait ce qui donne des parties de carrelage coupante apparente. Les portes de placard qui ne tiennent qu'à moitié. Des parties de meuble délabré. Du rafistolage d'apprenti bricollo ni fait ni a faire. Le lit king size fait 190cm de long et non 200 ( les grands comprenderont ). Forte odeur d'humidité dans les couloirs à notre étage.
-La zone piscine avec toboggan est en train de pourrir, c'est triste. Un grand nombre de carreaux dans l'eau absent et non remplacé, très dangereux pour les petits autant que pour les parents. Des parties rouillé non entretenu non repeint. Transates sales et cassée. Le stand ou l'on récupère les serviette est lui aussi rafistoler et rescotché c'est hallucinant, avec du personel rivé sur leur téléphone qui parfois ne relève même pas la tête pour vous saluer. C'est à la fois humainement triste et regrettable et à la fois simplement non acceptable lorsqu'on est client.
-dysfonctionnement de la carte magnétique récurrente ( a minima 2 fois par jour) . A l'acceuil on nous donne des recommandations avec un certain mépris comme si nous n'avion jamais serjouné dans des hôtels avec cartes...
Extrêmement déçu de cet hôtel !!!!
Si l'hôtel était entretenu ( je ne parle pas de rénovation mais juste d'entretien) l' hotel serait 10/10. Il possède tout les atouts pour être l'hôtel parfait mais malheureusement ce n'est pas le cas. Dans le hall on peut trouver une vitrine avec un grand nombre de prix et récompense internationale pour la qualité de cet hôtel. Ca devait effectivement être incroyable à l'époque où tout était propre et entrenue. Quel gâchis, quel dommage. JE NE RECOMMANDE PAS CET HÔTEL.

For many years I’ve always chosen Swiss Garden Hotel whenever I visit Melaka. It’s easy to access, within walking distance to many attractions, has easy valet parking, friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, and good amenities. That’s why it’s always been my go-to.

However, during my last visit, I noticed the room looked a bit worn. The bidet was broken, some toilet tiles were popping up and looked like they could break anytime, the bathroom door was chipped, and the curtains and windows needed a good clean-up. I hope management will take this seriously and keep the rooms updated so the hotel can stay competitive, especially with so many new hotels and Airbnbs growing fast.

Also, the gym is in very poor condition. It’s shared with The Shore Residences and hygiene is the biggest issue. I personally noticed that no one was cleaning the equipment after use, and no sanitizer was provided.
