Went for a family 80th birthday meal
Everyone loved the food great portions from starters to dessert.
Nice relaxing atmosphere nothing was rushed just the right amount of time between courses thanks again to Colin for a lovely time and to Megan we will definitely be back
Proximity to Gleniffer Brains Country Park. It was a lovely location for a walk.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff and convenient to the airport. It was just perfect for a one night stay before heading home.
Not a thing
I emailed but received no reply so unfortunately resorted to posting on here. 10 of us came for breakfast…4 of the dishes were short changed.
Over £6 for ONE small pancake for the kids…on the menu it states there should be TWO. All three of the kids were served one single small pancake. Also the French toast stack should come with three slices and was served with two.
The prices were much higher than the menu on the website. Considering how slow the food was to come out, how reduced the portion sizes were and how expensive it was I would not recommend. Only given 2 stars as the service was good.
The staff were lovely. Everyone we encountered was so pleasant and welcoming. We ate in the restaurant for a quick light dinner and it was delicious and the perfect portions for our evening ahead. The manager was knowledgeable about the menu so when my mum ordered something with an amendment he suggested a better option for her - which she said was amazing. So of course we had breakfast in the morning - it was great and again the same manager (not sure he goes home) was very accommodating of everything - especially my fussiness.
Unfortunately the bedding was full of holes and stained. The bathroom had a few hairs in the sink and shower.

The shower gel provided was insufficient for a couple of showers, which was particularly inconvenient during the extreme weather. Additionally, on the morning of our departure, I found the passenger side of my car completely wet, specifically around the door handles and tyres.
Lovely room, great evening meal and breakfast, would highly recommend, perfect location from airport.
When we tried to check out on the morning, there was already 2 people already waiting and no staff present, we looked in the breakfast area as well as going back to one of the rooms which was been cleaned but did not find anyone for us to check out, as we had a funeral to attend we had to leave the key on the desk, which is not ideal
We all enjoyed the food both starters and mains but was really surprised when they brought the bill explaining so they could cash up without asking if we wanted any desserts
When questioned as the children wanted a dessert they said they would ask the chef as kitchen now closed
Was so rude and unexpected as up till then everything was fine
They did reluctantly serve the children’s desserts and immediately gave us an amended bill and asked for payment so they could cash up
Disappointing!
Beautiful wee hotel we had a family room for me and mum perfect for us , plenty of tea/coffee biscuits, housekeeping staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for us.
Only downside is the potholes outside the hotel, but we would still stay again
Good evening meal and very good breakfast. General decor very good, staff friendly, room very good. Plenty of parking, I was a bit worried about leaving my motorcycle outside all night but I used an anti theft device and all was ok.
The main access driveway needs some urgent maintenance.

We were able to charge the car overnight, the staff were friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant was very good.
The bed had a huge dip in the mattress which made it a little uncomfortable to sleep on. We were only there for one night so it wasn’t a big problem but could have been if we were there for longer.
Been here a few times and always lovely food & good service.
Today service was very slow, not enough staff on for amount of people dining.
I also didn’t realise it was a dog friendly restaurant. Two parties came in with dogs, dogs started barking at each other, which didn’t make for a relaxing lunch. Also in my opinion not very hygienic after dogs in a restaurant.
Not sure I would return given the fact it’s dog friendly
Lovely restuarant but food was not up to scratch was not worth the money and will not be going back.should of stayed at home and ordered a chinese more enjoyable
