A good priced gem in Heraklion
Pros:

My wife and I stayed 2 nights at Kronos hotel. It is in a perfect position to see the city, just off the main drag and right on the water. It is a bit old but it is comfortable, clean, the bed was great and offered a good breakfast in the price and the staff were helpful. Really, what more could you ask for! We would happily stay here again.

Alles hervorragend aber sehr laut.
Pros:

Das Hotel war sehr gut. Personal freundlich, Frühstück ausgezeichnet, Zimmeraustattung sehr gut. Gegenüber vom Hotel ein sehr gutes Restaurant. Alles hervorragend, leider ein enorm lauter Straßenlärm. Wir übernachteten nur eine Nacht weil wir eine Rundreise durch Kreta machten.

Cons:

Das Hotel lag genau zwischen zwei Einbahnstraßen sehr nahe am Meer was sehr schön sein könnte. Leider waren die Straßen sehr stark befahren und eigentlich unerträglich laut. Schlafen war auch bei geschlossenen Fenstern schwierig.

Kronos is a comfortable place to stay, located in the centre of Heraklion near the harbour. Some rooms have a sea view. Breakfast is included in the room price. The hosts are happy to look after your luggage if you arrive early before check-in, or after check-out (if you have a later flight).

Cons:

The shower room was rather small, but fine for one night.

Un petit hôtel sympathique en plein cœur de la ville au bord de la mer.
Pros:

Belle situation avec un balcon sur la mer et proche du centre. Lits confortables. L'accueil est digne de la légendaire hospitalité crétoise.

Cons:

Pas de possibilité de stationner, comme dans toute la ville d'ailleurs. Très bruyant, beaucoup de passage : voitures, avions. C'est dommage car on ne peut pas profiter du balcon. La superficie des chambres est assez minimaliste. Difficile de poser ses valises dans cet espace restreint.
