Prima, kleinschalig hotel op korte afstand van de fraaie waterval Gulfoss
Pros:

Goede bedden. Ontbijt en diner waren ook prima.
Het personeel was zeer attent. Toen wij door een lekke band uren later dan gepland weer in het hotel verschenen hebben ze ons 's avonds laat, ver na sluiten van de keuken, toch nog van een warm diner voorzien.

Topverblijf vlakbij de waterval en de geiser
Pros:

Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst voor de check-in. Zeer propere kamer en heel lekker diner. Het ontbijtbuffet biedt meer dan voldoende keuze : verschillende soorten brood, charcuterie en granen. Alles tot in de puntjes verzorgd.
Het hotel is gelegen in de onmiddellijke nabijheid van de waterval en de geiser die je - zoals in ons geval als je in juni naar IJsland gaat, 's avonds na het eten nog eens kan gaan bezoeken .

Nice cosy hotel
Pros:

Perfect location for our 1st day road trip, arrived Kef airport 8:30am, pick up car around 11am, visited Thingvellir national park and Geysir, then go to hotel, the next morning visited Gullfoss which is 3-4 minutes' drive from hotel and continue our road trip to Vik.

Pros:

Die Lage ist toll, nur 5 Minuten vom Gullfoss entfernt. Die Zimmer sind sauber und komfortabel.
Der Jacuzzi hat uns auch gut gefallen.

Cons:

Bei dem Preis, den wir bezahlt haben, hätte ich vom Frühstück wesentlich mehr erwartet.

Sehr schönes Hotel
Pros:

Sehr schön gelegenes Hotel, Zimmer ist sehr geräumig gewesen. Alles war sehr sauber. Man hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet. Sehr zu empfehlen ist das Restaurant zum Abendessen.

Cons:

Badezimmer war schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Flecken auf der Auslegeware im Hotelgang waren nicht sehr ansehnlich.

Cons:

unsere Kreditkarte wurde bei der Testbuchung abgelehnt, was bei uns zunächst Verstimmung und Angst vor einer Stornierung ausgelöst hat. Laut Auskunft unserer Bank lag das Problem an der Art der Sicherheitsüberprüfung des Hotels.
Wir konnten in einem Telefongespräch mit dem Hotel alles klären und haben dann problemlos im Hotel bezahlt.

This was the perfect hotel for our last night in Iceland! Wonderful room and food.
Pros:

Hotel staff were wonderful. Lots of information readily available. And just so friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was the best we had throughout Iceland. Thank you for that! Room was perfect. It was our last of 9 nights in Iceland and could not have been better.

Cons:

I would not change a thing.
