This a lovely quiet place to stay in Stowe. Pool, Sauna, jacuzzi and river view are amazing. Highly recommend.
Our sink was clogged but other than that everything was perfect.

It was a very beautiful place. Clean, modern, great location.
The only thing that we would have to usher to be different was the pool temperature. It was warm enough for swimming but not for playing with kids which was what we wanted to do.
Location is a great mix of downtown and the notch access. Stuga rooms are an excellent feature.
My Stuga was a little dirty in that the sink had bugs living in them (maybe fruit flies). The modern style bathroom can be silly. The water from the shower spills beyond the angled tiles and the sink to faucet gap barely allows one to wash their hands.
Location is fabulous! The hotel is great but we had stayed there 4 years ago probably after it was newly renovated and it could use a tiny bit of refreshing in the rooms now. The room this time was small but good. Had a king bed with a deck out the back. Last time we were lucky and the same category of room had a large footprint.
Room had coffee pods to use but no coffee maker/pot. It was a tea pot for just boiling water so that was confusing LOL
there's a small room off the pool area that had tiny hand weights. would have been nice to add a few mats in there and maybe some more substantial weights for someone to have a quick work out.

Très belle endroit lit confortable et pour profiter encore plus la terrasse et un vrai plus honnêtement tres apprécier cette hotel dommage d'avoir eu un road trip charge j'aurais aime profiter plus du lieu tellement il est génial
The hotel is beautiful and has a great outdoors area including fire pits, games, a lot of seating areas and a hut tub. There is also an indoor pool that is heated and open late.
Originally we were put in a room that had a really potent musty smell, we asked to move to a different one. Both the original room and the new one were pretty small, mostly just space for a bed and a little boundry to walk around it. The hotel has no cleaning service, the beds are not made at any point in our stay and even the room trash isn't clear, they put new towels on our beds some of the days but did not change towels that were specifically left on the floor so they would be changed. At no point was it advertised or stated to us that there are no cleanings, the only way we found out this was by design is by actively asking the service desk.
My husband and I stayed in a king stuga for 4 nights. Loved the minimalist style. Great outside space, right by the river. We had a campfire one night and met lovely people. I liked having the kitchen for easy meals and snacks since eating out is so expensive now. The AC is only in the living room, and it worked well for us. Perhaps bring a small fan for the bedroom if it’s a really warm. Great location in Stowe. Ask for a cabin farther away from the main lodge, they are more private.
There is no coffee maker in the cabins, but there is an electric tea kettle.
Quiet, serene and comfortable.
