Great hotel in quite neighborhood on a hill
Pros:

The New Agena Hotel sits on a hill in a quiet neighborhood. The views are great.
This is a very clean hotel with very good wifi, air conditioning, hot water and very good customer service. It has an outdoor pool and fitness center. The restaurant in the hotel offers safe and delicious meals from breakfast to dinner. Please note: The food does take awhile to serve, but this is typical for the area. It's about 25 min from the airport. You will sleep well here!

Modern, comfortable hotel with an amazing view
Pros:

It was my first time in New Agena, and all my previous trips I have stayed elsewhere in Bujumbura. So I was really nervous when I was booked here. Everything changed as I enterer the room, it was massive, very modern, well furnished and super comfortable. Then I went to the balcony, and the view was amazing. The view of the lake Tanganyika was breathtaking.

The hotel has a pool, a gym (didn't swim or go to the gym), but its there. The pool overlooks the hilly area, which is nice and secluded. The food is good, service was great and had a great experience overall. They had a working WiFi too :)

This was probably the quietest hotel I've stayed in Bujumbura, and probably my favorite so far.

The only downside is you can't walk to any place, even though this is in the town, doesn't feel very central. This may be good or bad based on your preference. I felt good, cos it felt far away from the rush, and good because it was accessible by car to the town

I was most impressed by the room, felt very upmarket American hotel type, for so cheap :)

This is lower class hotel.
Pros:

Two star hotel with poor staff - don't speak English and don't understand your wishes. In the hotel there are nothing to do. Manager tried to ease the situation, but failed. WiFi quality very bad.

Et hotell i særklasse!
Pros:

Et førsteklasses hotell; et av de aller beste vi har bodd på! Stort rom med flott balkong med oversikt over Bujumbura og Lake Tanganyika. Hotellets ledelse og personale var svært hjelpsomme og fikk oss til å føle oss hjemme.Maten var meget god!
Stort og rent svømmebasseng. Dette er et hotell vi trygt kan anbefale!!
