Beautiful location close to the Georgian city

Beautiful hotel - lovely spacious room. Easy walk to town centre. Staff were lovely. Didn't eat at the restaurant, but it was busy and looked great. Cocktails in the outdoor bar were fabulous.
My only (and probably unfair) complaint was that the air conditioning could not compete with the heatwave, so we did not sleep well.
The location made it easy to walk to attractions, shopping and restaurants. We loved the unique decor and the snacks available. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

Perfect location for daughter’s graduation. Staff were lovely and great decor and breakfast.
Room was in need of some tlc, aircon wasn’t functioning properly and as we were right at the top it was so hot.

No AC in the room, some electric fans but they weren’t strong enough to get much airflow.

What a fantastic place to stay and the customer service is off the highest quality. I couldn’t recommend it enough from its location, decor but especially the staff. Staying in Bath- I’d recommend The Bird anytime.
The hotel was very well appointed and the staff were extremely helpful and polite. The decor was lovely and the terrace an excellent addition in a warm summer evening, just a pity the miserable neighbouring occupants insisted it was vacated by 9.30pm. The restaurant and breakfast was of a high standard.
Due to the above average daytime temperatures the lack of air conditioning made the room far too warm for sleeping even though that particular evening was not very warm. The traffic noise in our room facing the road was quite loud due to no double glazing which also made it not possible to open the windows to control the heat.
Had a fab stay at The Bird. Loved the quirkiness and great little touches…. Like the complimentary larder with cold drinks, fruit and snacks. We were in an Abbey King room, which was lovely and comfortable and had air conditioning…. a lifesaver in this heatwave! The staff were amazing, so friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. Great breakfast the next morning. Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!
