Friendly hotel with a great view of the Matterhorn
Pros:

Excellent breakfast. Pierre and all the staff were friendly and ready to help. Excellent views of the Matterhorn from the hotel. Location is close to the start of all the main hiking trails and very close to the Matterhorn Express if you wish to see your money disappear quicker than in a casino. It's a short walk to the centre of town. The 571 bus runs from near the hotel to the station (or vice versa) and from the bus stop you can take a lift to near the hotel. All important to know when you have heavy luggage!

Cons:

I would have liked to have coffee/tea making facilities in the rooms, which is standard in the UK. Even say a coffee machine somewhere in the common area. Especially desirable as the reception is unstaffed after 8. Bath towels were too small and lightweight.

We loved our stay at Plateau Rosa. The staff and room were great.
Pros:

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and everything was well prepared. It was a great place to stay.

Cons:

We were told we could call for a shuttle from the train station but when we did it wasn’t available that day. We were able to get through some directions by bus and were ok after that.

受付のピエールさんがとてもフレンドリー。部屋からマッターホルンをひとり占めできる。冷蔵庫はないが、食堂の冷蔵庫で預かってもらえる。
アットホームな雰囲気も良かった。
