Fast alles super! Das Frühstücksbuffet enttäuschte zweimal

Das Eckzimmer mit den zwei Balkonen ist geräumig, hell.

Das Frühstücksbuffet hat uns leider sehr enttäuscht.

Wir verbrachten zwei Nächte im Hotel Simmenhof und wurden darüber informiert, dass das Frühstück ab 8.00 Uhr serviert wird. Aufgrund einer Reisegruppe, die mit dem Car anreiste und bereits zwischen 7.00 und 8.00 Uhr ein reduziertes Frühstück erhielt, wurde das vollständige Buffet für die übrigen Gäste jeweils erst ab 8:30 Uhr, sonntags ab 8:40 Uhr aufgebaut.

Am ersten Morgen konnte ich die Entschuldigung des Servicepersonals noch gut nachvollziehen. Als sich am zweiten Morgen jedoch genau dieselbe Situation wiederholte und erneut um Verständnis gebeten wurde, empfand ich dies als ärgerlich. Wenn Frühstück ab 8.00 Uhr angekündigt wird, sollte das Angebot auch ab diesem Zeitpunkt zur Verfügung stehen.

Das Zimmer ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen, für eine Suite in der Preislage, erwarte ich ein Zimmer welches kein Schimmel im Bad hat, alle Steckdosen funktionieren, die Kaffeekapseln nachgefüllt werden und es wenigstens eine Minibar hätte. Die Matratzen sind komplett durchgelegen.

Pool schliesst bereits um 20.00 Uhr, weder beheitzt wie auf der Homepage beschrieben,noch gehen alle Massagedüsen
(War letztes Jahr leider um einiges besser)

Am 2ten Tag wurde unser reservierter Tisch beim Frühstück von anderen neuen Gästen einfach dreist besetzt, die Reservierkarte auf einen anderen (reservierten)Tisch gestellt und als wir den Chef darauf hingewiesen hatten, wurden wir in einen hinteren Raum geschikt wo man sich recht abgespiesen gefühlt hat.
Also bei einer Buchung mit Junior Suite, nicht akzeptabel

Wir kamen bereits das 3te mal jetzt in den Simmenhof,die ersten beide Male waren top trotz den auch schon vorhandenen Zimmereinrichtungen.

Too expensive for what it it. A very dated place
Pros:

The pool is nice, and the outdoor area is very pleasant, if you can ignore the manure smell.
A billiard table is nice to have
The piano area bar is very cosy

Cons:

Breakfast is below average
Location - far from the center and the last bus back is at 5pm. plus the bus runs only once per hour
Dinner- expensive and average, very salty
Rooms are okish, extremely dated and you can hear everything on the hallway
Sauna - extremely small
Manure smell doesn't fit the "spa" and 4* vibe
